  2. Freeware under development - KSAV Savannah - Hilton Head International. First, I would like to address KRNO Reno-Tahoe. It's completed and should be released within a week. On the heels of KJAX and KRNO, KSAV has been built from scratch. Over 80 some buildings have been designed in 3D, mapped, & textured. Google Earth was used for scaling of every building. KSAV is home to Gulfstream and every building has been included. I am attaching several screenshots of the airport as it exists on my computer to date. Please understand: 1. The computer I design on is over 20 years old and the graphics card does not produce the best screenshots. I.e. crispness of textures, etc. 2. When viewing the concourse you will notice many doors. These doors will eventually have stair sets that lead up to them. 3. The Afcad. It has not been edited and therefore you will see grass in areas where it shouldn't, and wouldn't, exist. 4. The jetways in the images are for reference only. They will be eventually scaled and suited to the types of equipment that populate the concourse. Thank you much, Michael (Mitch) KSAV Screenshots
  3. Hi Lorby, 'Scripts' do not appear in the treelist, I did check twice before posting this message. As I installed the demo, which contained XP scripts, I'll do a full uninstall/reinstall and see if that fixes it.
  4. He's attempting to throw other devs under the bus with his they're not doing ARINC 424 / PANS-OPS properly, but we are statement. Completely unnecessary. PMDG is late to the game on ARINC 424 (which is nothing but a format), is trying to bamboozle its customers with jargon, and is attempting to position itself as a superior dev. This is in spite of other devs beating them to the punch as he himself admitted half a sentence earlier.
  5. We're all big boys here. Developing ATC apps is hard. No one product is ever going to be perfect for everyone. In all teams there are people who disagree with the direction things go. I prefer to be in the tent p*ssing out than the other way round πŸ™‚ At the end of the day, the devs get to choose how they develop their products and whether they want/need to make changes based on beta tester's feedback. I personally think it's better to have people that challenge you than yes men (or women). But if I don't agree with the team leader or dev's opinion, I argue my point rationally and with evidence, and suck it up if my feedback isn't accepted πŸ˜‰
  6. Who says that hasn't happened? I am and was part of many, many beta tests (Hifi, A2A, AivlaSoft back then, FSReborn, etc), mostly for over 10 years. With ATC developers (VOX and FSHud) I do not have luck as they throw me out when I pronounce obvisious opinions, showstoppers, bugs, suggestions. What does make it a bad taste if, when these devs do not discuss or even deliver one argument, just cancel my account in the beta. In the end - and exactly this has happened already with BATC now - customers yell why the "beta testers haven't done a better job???"
  7. Fair enough. And because you are from my favorite country Norway (not kidding!) I'll listen to you! The reporting of bugs will have to wait though until I can actually buy BATC...
  8. You have no idea how much this confused me when I did my first Vatsim flights at U.S. Airports. To make that even more complicated not all divisions simulate this. So you end up always having to ask first whether Ramp is controlled or uncontrolled.
  9. He's backkkkkk. Under a new name. πŸ˜ƒ
  10. Do you really think they are not aware of this? And do you think it is helpful to keep bashing on the same every day? It is much more difficult to be positive and to bring inputs that takes the product forward. Especially in this phase. You should take on this challenge πŸ™‚ Repeating the obvious with a negative tone just drains energy from the team. If you find a bug then report it through the correct channels and document it as good as you can. I am sure it will be handled when it reaches the top of their priority list.
  11. Can't help the scenery indexing really, it's what allows Vox to do some of what other apps cannot. Progress bar, well, that's feedback I'll take on board πŸ™‚ It's a full simulated ATC environment, LOL, there will ALWAYS be something that's not 100% right because there are so many real world unique procedures and variations. If you want less complications, then get MSFS and Asobo to fully document the SDK in terms of AI control and get them to expand the simconnect functions to something approaching P3D. Yes, it has to be said, the SDK functionality in P3D far exceeds that in MSFS I'm afraid. Devs have to work with what is there. Just because the scenery and other aspects are much improved, doesn't mean that some of the core functionality is better too. It's not, in many cases it's actually worse than FSX. This is something that ALL ATC devs for MSFS have to contend with.... 😞
  12. Let us hope that this puts an end to all of the PMDG hater comments. Fat chance
  13. Not on my side back then. Alone the scenery indexing which lasts more then 15 minutes without any progress bar etc. Looking forward what will be released and I'm sure then the dev has a lot people which will share if anything is buggy or complicated. Hopefully not.
  14. Beta is at discord and development progress was all in all very silent. So I wondered after aome months if sth is going on and I got informed from Kevin that the dev removed me. No discussion, no information. Even after a personal mail he didn't answer me. Seems, ATC developers have all a very similar mindset πŸ˜‰ Very curious what VOX ATC delivers once it is released.
  15. Hi Dave, After all these years using P2A, I'm moving today to a newly released ATC software. But I cannot leave the P2A forum without thanking you for all you make for the flight sim community. For years, your software was by far the best ATC software available. Today, it is still one of the best, but for me it is time to see and try something else. So Thank You for your fantastic software, your incredible support, reaction time and listening our suggestions. I've never seen this dedication anywhere else. Maybe one day, I'll have the joy to see a "Pilot2ATC 2" with incredible features, beating all competition. Count on me to come back on this day. I wish you all success for the future and, again, thank you for the hundreds of happy flying hours with P2A. Fabrice
  16. Lots fixed, always moving forwards. I'm not sure about what you saw as a wierd installation process, its quite simple? All now integrated into one app. The setup isn't that difficult IMHO, but I totally agree it needs documenting better. (Perhaps you'd share with me what you thought was hard and I'll look at it?) At the moment its voice only, but the tech is there to enable it not to have to be. However the ATC being right has to be correct first before that's looked at. Let's not make it personal about devs though please, working with MSFS is bl**dy hard, as you know all too well from FSReborn @guenseli !!!! All constructive feedback is welcome πŸ™‚
  17. πŸ™‚ Looks a lot like my experience with BATC LOL Only I wasn't thrown out, I left myself. πŸ˜‰ Not the mentioned problems btw but that I also warned them for upset future customers because of problems that weren't solved.
  18. Hi. New to the forum, although far from new to sims. But I _am_ new to Auto_FPS... I have one question that got me to register: "You guys in this thread" are apparently running MSFS with Auto_FPS at TLOD 500 (rough estimate) and going by the screenshots at resolutions of 1080 or 1440 or such. And you're stating 60-80 fps. Well, here's my rig: R7 7800X3D, 64 GB DDR5 @6000, RTX 4090, M.2 for MSFS. And I can't get near those results unless I'm at FL300 or such. I get huge and really bad stutters using Auto_FPS when I try setting TLOD anywhere near 500. My game runs at 30-40% CPU load (limited by one thread running at 100%) and the GPU I can get to run at 30-80% depending on what I do with upsampling etc. So what is it I'm missing? HΓ€lsningar frΓ₯n Sverige
  19. From your description it seems, VOX ATC has made very, very big steps since several month ago after the developer has thrown me out of the beta (silently, without any comment) as I repeatetly pronounced which aspects I see as showstopper (weird installation process, decluttered into several single programs, very difficult setup, forced to have a microphone plugged-in, 1990s interface, several CTDs and freezes, no reliable button inputs, not to use without voice (no button only usage). So, I feared that these things will future customers make very upset, but all that seems to be solved now?! Great!
  20. Today
  21. I evidently missed it, @Tuskin38 is hard to beat when it comes to MSFS news! Sorry to see it did not raise interest though as this team of young developers is working hard to deliver a fine and detailed product to the community.
  22. Wasn't aware of that? Thx for mentioning... Will now look into the CFGs in the aircraft folders! Great!
  23. Thanks for the replies. It does not seem to be the liveries causing it. I’ve made sure I installed the Block 2 specific liveries too.
  24. Those patches are nice and all but I have seen them all before during beta where the dev was constantly fixing vectors and descents. I have the idea he has to fix them one by one for every approach and every STAR or something like that. Almost every day the above two problems were reported and almost everyday there was a fix and almost every day it didn't change a thing in other flights. Proven by the fact these problems are still here today in EA. The fix for 320 Sims Pilot's video was probably done mainly because everyone can see that video (and be shocked by it). I am really curious to see if the dev somehow managed to fix these two issues for everyone and every flight.
  25. This happens with Vatsim traffic aswell.
