Looks Like They Nerfed Live Traffic Again
mwilk replied to mikeklimek's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I think that's going to depend on how much cooperation they get from Asobo. -
A little duct tape will fix that up real nice.😄

Vox atc panel gauge and fs labs airbus
mwilk replied to Greg Goodavish's topic in The VOXATC Support Forum
I don't know what variants of the FSL Bus you have but when you use the panel config tool, only tick the box of the first one in each variant. I have multiple liveries for each variant (A319 CFM, A319 IAE, A320 CFM, A320 IAE....) Each of those liveries has its own box. If you check all of them it will mess up your install. If that's not it then you may have to install the Vox panel for each variant separately. -
PMDG Global Operarion... Pilot number?
mwilk replied to Seven7's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I don't think it's even operational yet. -
I live about 2 or 3 miles north of where that shot was taken so I'm very familiar with summertime in Texas. I don't disagree but the entire world isn't that hazy all the time. It just seems overdone.
-
Guys, What settings will remove this haze? This is just west of DFW using Active Sky and EA.
-
Does it fix the dark cockpits when you're using EA?
-
Gerard, Is EnvShade supposed to fix that? That's the one thing that keeps EA turned off for me.
-
That's what I see. When I turn EA on the cockpit is very dark. With it off everything is normal.

Faulty install caused a massive perf hit for AIG Ai in v5.2?
mwilk replied to chapstick's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Make sure you delete your shader folder. I’m running AIG and have not noticed any decrease in performance. -
CaptainSim 777 For MSFS
mwilk replied to HarryS's topic in The Multi-Crew Experience (MCE) Support Forum
Was there a default 777? -
How well do the girls handle an 87 mph curveball?

Aircraft liveries on ground at airports
mwilk replied to Espana Pete's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Asobo is just now starting to work with AIG to get some decent AI traffic in MSFS 2020. AIG is getting ready to alpha test their traffic addon soon and hopefully release it to the public in Q4 of this year. -
You use the P3D installer that you download from the PMDG site.

May 13th, 2021 - Development Update
mwilk replied to ChaoticBeauty's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
If nothing else, this sim generates some great screenshots. -
No, there was a Cessna pilot on his first solo that saw the Cirrus deploy his chute. He relayed information to ATC about where the Cirrus came down.
-
This is a good explanation of what might have happened.
-
Better have the pushback tug standing by anyhow. These things usually end up being more trouble than they're worth.
-
Maybe not. https://www.cnet.com/news/spacexs-mars-prototype-rocket-starship-sn15-might-fly-again-soon/
-
I don't know why they don't fuel it back up and fly it again. They're going to have to do it eventually.

I live about 20 miles west of DFW and we have thunderstorms moving into our area. I fired up the FBW A320 and took off from DFW and headed this way. The weather at DFW was scattered clouds. As I turned west the radar showed the thunder storm cells and lightning was visible. For once it was pretty accurate. As has been stated, it can be hit or miss.

747-8 mirrored issue is cracked !
mwilk replied to pmplayer's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Funny how many issues are being fixed by the community. It’s almost like it’s open sourced. Ok, not really. -
Great shot. It looks like Maui. We'll be there in three weeks so we'll see how accurate it is.

[New developement version] A32NX | FlybyWire Simulations
mwilk replied to Watsi's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I guess the question is, if we're already using the experimental version, should we transition to the development version or stay where we are? -
There are no automatic updates. You get the latest version from here. https://pilot2atc.com/V2Downloads
