Only took me 20mins to reinstall Sean. Very happy with update, a lot smoother in VC, and fixed the shimmering on the overhead I was experiencing. Thanks to the lads at PMDG, well done.
Well, after I deleted the cfg's and ran the updater again it seems fine now and the numbers are correct.I did a quick flight from KLAS to KLAX and it seemed that everything worked fine, except the RIIVR2 STAR which has a lot of At or Above altitude restrictions seemed to not work very well and I ended up getting caught high and had to go to V/S mode to catch up. The approach attitude with VREF +5 was fixed to maintain about 2 degrees and the autobrakes worked well.Aside from that, it might be the placebo effect, but it did seem a lot smoother and FPS seemed to be slightly better.The only issue I really had aside from the VNAV not working well with the At or Above altitude restrictions was that when I exited the flight, I got a crash to desktop before returning to the main FSX menu. This started happening a few updates ago. Sometimes it CTD and other times it doesn't. Not really a big deal except that any settings changes I might have made dont stick and I have to deleted the fsx.cfg.txt file that gets created after an error CTD.Overall, very happy with this update and is the best one yet I think. I am anxious to see after the final SP1 is completed.Sean Campbell

Captains- A couple of items for you: ........ For the purpose of this fix, we are hoping to see a dramatic reduction in problems for those folks who have reported problems with freezes. We are still looking at a few causes- but this should be a significant reduction step......Okay folks- I think that is all I have for you tonight!
Due to the fact, that 90 % of the reportet bugs are caused by inability of the self-appointed 737 Pilots I be afraid thatwe will see a dramatic inrcease of problems for those who have not any problems with the NGX RTM - Version (including myself).To avoid any problems i will refuse also the upcoming SP1 and also the 600/700.Why shall I fix something when there is nothing to fix? Regards

Robert, great to see progress is coming along regarding the NGX updates Will give it a go here in a minute). Just a quick note, you mentioned moving some the team over to the 777 which is good to hear,but I have not heard any mention of the Dash 8, which I though was scheduled before the 777. Did I miss the line up, or has it changed?

Thank you for your hard workthe only installer that works for me is the RTM, any fix I apply it will CTD, and the event report is as follow: Faulting application name: fsx.exe, version: 10.0.61637.0, time stamp: 0x46fadb14Faulting module name: PMDG_737NGX.DLL_unloaded, version: 0.0.0.0, time stamp: 0x4e7ce449Exception code: 0xc0000096Fault offset: 0x563f9374Faulting process id: 0x5c4Faulting application start time: 0x01cc7b8310c3278dFaulting application path: D:\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\fsx.exeFaulting module path: PMDG_737NGX.DLLReport Id: 9c3ae37f-e776-11e0-9ebc-005056c00008 so I will just stick to RTM for now.

Thanks for the fix. A first short flight and the landing was promising. I'm now in the process of doing the flight that gave me a 100% chance of a panel freeze on landing before (8 attempts, 8 freezes). If this landing should go alright now without the panels freezing up on me this will be a huge mile stone. ETE 40 minutes. Wish me luck.

I have RTM version and have not experienced any CTD's since I tweaked my fsx.cfg file but am troubled by the GA performance and the fluid level refill issue. In reading of some of you having bad experiences with this new fix, I am afraid to touch what I have but am willing to try it if GA and "fluid refill" have been addressed on this hotfix. Can anyone who is having success with the new fix verify this? I am hopeful that those of you who are having disasterous results attempting this fix will not have similar problems with the completed SP1. In my experience, "new and improved" often means "never as good as it once was".

I'm still in 2888 version without hotfixes implemented but today when I tryed install this new hotfix, nothing happened. The process started but stop with none changes!What`s wrong? Before install this hotfix I only renamed the old config files to aircraft.cfg_bkp keeping the two files "aircraft.cfg_bkp" and "aircraft.cfg" in FSX/Simobjets/airplanes/PMDGmodel..I believe I could have done it without problems...May somenone advise-me?Thanks

Well said, I've not had problem 1 with this aircraft since it came out {knock on wood}

Will the Multicrew feature be included in the SP1 ? Eric B

And landed successfully without a freeze!! It's still too early to report with confidence that the panel freezes are completely gone, but being a able to make that flight successfully for the first time after 8 attemps with freezing before the hotfix is very, very promising! Gotta do more flights! Thank you again!
