November 24, 201114 yr Commercial Member Captains-Today is a national holiday here in the United States. For those who don't keep up with our holiday calendar, the holiday is know as "Thanksgiving."The first Thanksgiving was held in order to celebrate and give thanks for a successful harvest season in the "New World" but the holiday has evolved into a very nice home-and-family kind of affair in which you get to sit down for a huge meal with family and friends you don't see very often. I wanted to take a moment to drop in here and say, "Thank You" to all of you, our customers.2011 has been one of the best years in PMDG's history- and with all of its ups and downs sometimes it is easy to lose track of the fact that we are all here because we love airplanes and airlines as well process of simulating advanced airliner operations. Whether you are here as a lurker because you find simming fun, or because you own one of our products and you want to learn how to get the most use out of its capabilities, I want to offer a heart-felt "Thank You" for supporting the work that we do here at PMDG.All of us on the PMDG team invest a tremendous amount of time and energy into creating the products that you use- and to the man, we make this investment because we enjoy the intellectual challenge of the exercise- but we also enjoy the feedback we get form you. We also enjoy the humor, the anticipation, the one-on-one relationships that we develop- and yes, we even enjoy the criticism. It would be easy to say, "our work is good and they will buy from us no matter what," but we all know that this conclusion would be far from accurate. The fact is that most of you are repeat buyers- and it is that act of coming back for more that tells us when we are doing things the right way.We hope that you have enjoyed what we have accomplished during 2011, and we sincerely hope you will stick around for 2012- because the new year is shaping up to be just as exciting (if not more) than 2011.So as we settle down to spend some time with our families this Thanksgiving holiday- please know that we are thinking of all of you. We are thankful for your presence here- and enjoy the friendships we have made.I can't wait for you to see 2012- so please be careful out there this weekend. Robert S. November 24, 201114 yr We don't have Thanksgiving here in Holland, and I don't exactly know what it is. But PMDG, I want to give you a big "Thanks!" for all your outstanding work you did in the past few months! Great products, great support also. After thanksgiving, go back to work.
