The base pack has sold well (not giving any numbers, sorry).
how has the 6700 compared so far Ryan?

the 800/900 base pack is required for the 600/700 expansion pack, so therefore, the 600/700 sold equally well, or not as well, but not better. There you go!

I'm pretty sure just after the base package release Ryan or somebody said that it sold already more than any other PMDG product.

I guess you can guess-a-mate by looking at the number of posts for a hot topic. I bet everyone who purchased the product has made a post sometime in their NGX life. My guess is 20,000-30,000 sold.

- you dont need to.I think you can guess around 6000-7000 based on FB likes. Yes they have more likes, but its VERY unlikely they sold a copy to every ' like'Definatley less for the 600/700. About one third would be conservative.

No no. Not even close :) FS is a small tight-knit community. RSR mentioned it before when responding to the fs9 vs FSX threads. Also VRS has stated in there manual something similiar-

Commercial-in-confidence old chap. As its shares have never been floated publicly we will never know, and I am unsure what reporting requirements a company like this is required to make. But I certainly don't care enough to bother finding out. As customers our only concern is that PMDG remains solvent, can meet its commitments, pay its staff and invest in the next best simulation. Otherwise it would be a sad indeed to read another death notice of a flightsim developer - and the leader of the pack, or close to it, there is another 737 which is pretty good too.

No comparison. Sorry. Had to Ian.
+ 1The NGX is in a league, all of its own now. Nothing else comes even close.Fred.

I never clicked "like" on their fb, so remember to also account for those who didn't :)

thats PMDG's own business, they wil keep it quite have to respect that, look at the great plane they gave the flight sim community.

I was just trying to be even-handed guys. Preferences are entirely individual, and there's one thing about flight simming. Except for the large, but still small group who fly on-line, it is a solitary activity carried out in the privacy of one's own home!

I hope the NGX succeeds commercially so that PMDG can continue to develop new products. I think they can count on most NGX customers returning for future offerings. It would be interesting to know how large the flight sim market generally is? Maybe larger than people would imagine. unsure.png

Would be interesting to see the stats if the base-package was avail as a 600/700? Not sure that will ever be offered though.
