Guys, can you please ask FS2Crew 'tech' questions in the FS2Crew forum...Yes, it works with FSPassengers, but you have to apply a manual edit to the panel.cfg.

I am posting it here bc so far no luck from EZCA forum.

FS2crew wants us to load 737NG in 2D panel and I am unable to do that because ECZA overrides it and load in 3D. EZCA starts automatically when FSX starts. I followed some suggestions from older posts in EZCA forum and it still did not work.

Method 1 was to disable EZCA on FSX exit and next time FSX starts EZCA won't load, you have to enable EZCA. This method doesn't work, EZCA starts in anyway.

Method 2:

Open exe.xml file with notepad and rename "EZCA.EXE" to EZCA1.EXE or any name in this string: <Path>C:Program Files (x86)EZCAEZCA.exe</Path> For example: <Path>C:Program Files (x86)EZCAEZCA1.exe</Path> After it EZCA will not start with FSX. But remember , you can start EZCA after run fly only ! ---------------------This does not work either. Doing this removes EZCA from FSX completely. May be I was doing something wrong in method 2, not sure.If anybody were able to figure it out please share solution with me. Thank you.

I load in 3d view and having no problems at all think that some people are having troubles loading in the 3d view for some reason. So if it works for u when u load in 3d doesnt mean you have to load in 2d

Short review:bought the product on a very first day. Installed, configured, taught my Win voice recog to unterstand a mix of my own language and english, then started sim, launched FS2Crew and used my voice to set flaps 5..., then flaps 0, flaps 5, flaps 0... I could not get that stupid smile off my face for an hour! PS My wife thinks that on that very same day I lost my mind totally. Talking to a computer. Whats next?

I hate all of you. Every time I think my configuration is set, one of you mentions a great product (new or existing) and I find that the experience is elevated to a new level. I bought GSX this week and it really makes the gate come alive (and it's worth the price just to have a pushback that knows the correct path). Then along comes FS2Crew for the NGX and, after following some of the discussions here and the FS2Crew forum, I read the online manual and bought it yesterday. Now, while I'm going through the preflight, starting at NP.21, the catering service is working and the FO is in his preflight flow. I wait until FS2Crew asks if passengers can board before triggering GSX (which I reconfigured in GSX to take about 10 minutes on the -700 with a medium pax load). I use the GSX pushback and skip that option in FS2Crew......

+1Bought FS2Crew for the NGX after reading this post in the forum. WELL worth it, if you have the money. My wife is now numb to me spending money on FSX, so I didn't have that issue, but this program is just absolutely great! Big props to Bryan as well for supporting his product so well (AKA getting it to work with FSPassengers, even though the issue wasn't caused by his program) I'll be buying other versions of FS2Crew as my money supply gets bigger. :)

Howdy captains,I am wondering what's the way not to get lazy while using FS2CREW?I got mine a couple of days ago. Just managed to configure it yesterday and do a first flight. Pretty much followed the work-flow described in help manual but then realized that I can command the First Officer to do almost everything in the cockpit without me touching a single dial! Inasmuch as I am tempted to do so, I still think that it will lead me to becoming a totally lazy 'captain' so I refrain from dumping it all on my virtual sidekick. After all he can't say to me - "Are you nuts, captain?" :Just Kidding:What's your way of avoiding becoming a 'flight deck couch potato' with this wonderful FS2CREW thing?Mike Chirkov

Not really, you're still responsible for your own areas of responsibility as the Captain and Pilot Flying and Pilot Taxiing.But the FO does do a lot of the work so you can concentrate on the important stuff, like drinking coffee and reading the newspaper :(

The FS2Crew forum is the best place for 'tech' questions.In the soon-to-be released SP1, FS2Crew can (properly) control the transponder in Squawkbox 4 and the Ivao Pilot client.But not FSINN.I can control SB4 via Simconnect, but FSINN is a different story.
