Well, a new sim would be nice but I think we will always need the 3party devs to enchance the sim, there is no way a company can manage to create the whole world i high detail making all the planes we want, that would take years for them.

Indeed this is true, it's not possible to create a flight sim that would have even nearly as many airports covered in as high detail as third party addons do now.

I really dislike ground handling.

Smoothness, graphic loading ability - OOM's are a thing of the past, the ability to use bloom, better water textures, some folks have mentioned better color saturation, but for me, it has been the ability to hold a smooth and solid 29.9 - 30 fps continuously, with a much increased load.

I picked all of them because we really need a whole new, well done flight sim instead of this old thing that needs expensive addons which continuously induces more issues.

Omg, I was hoping for a easy double click, install, done type of patch, well back to the things I hate and love the most about FSX alot of hours reading and tweaking again :lol: .

My #1 turn off: slow loading times when bringing up a new flight.

 

Recently purchased an SSD to dedicate for FSX to mitigate this, and it was money well spent! Dropped loading times by 40% to 50%, and that is using it choked at ~260 mbs by a sata II controller.

 

BTW, your list does not apply to my current FSX "DX10 reborn" experience.

СЕВ here and there is the most annoying. Anyway FSX is the best sim available.

Low frame rates on the current best hardware. It seems you have to overclock to 5+ghz just to get better frames in heavy areas and bad weather.

autogen pop up here and there is very annoying.

Nothing very much. Running Orbx, Opus and some other bits and pieces all nice and smooth. Don't know what frame rates are, never look at them.

Oh, I thought of something. The never ending expense of new stuff. (I'm weak)

People copying there fsx config taking up a full page of a topic when 3/4 of it is a waste of time. You need to add that option also.
