Yes - that part is done, and it is to be announced and released this week - probably toward the end of the week, and It will be a surprise for many!

Its pretty sweet. The initial release is going to be fairly polished! If the community works closely with Steve, anything beta missed will be dealt with quickly I bet.

Yes you can, the settings are adjustable from within DX10 Controller. I have "always" used AA & AF, since I first switched to DX10.

I am hoping that it will live up to early predictions, and take its place as one of the greatest comets in recorded history. It seems to be behaving itself at the moment, but comets are unpredictable. It is getting close to the "frost line", which is the point where water ice starts to sublimate due to the increased solar heating. This will give astronomers a better idea of just how bright it may become in late November and December.

C/2012 S1 ISON (International Scientific Optical Network) is a long period comet that is currently approaching the Sun for the first time. Based on current estimates, it has the potential to be one of the brightest comets ever recorded. It is a sungrazer, which means that it will make a very close approach to the solar surface at perihelion (closest approach to the Sun). It is also quite large as sungrazers go, and the large ones have been spectacular in the past.

 

This has nothing whatsoever to do with DX10 Fixer, but SierraHotel evidently noted my interest in Comet Orbits.

I think a full increment jump might be a stretch ...  no secret FSX followed the standard Microsoft 70% done rule (as with just about all their products).

 

The irony here is that FSX with Steve's "FSX Complete" product is a step ahead of P3D V1.4 (which is DX9 only).  What I don't understand about P3D is they removed support for DX10 but left and deploy all the DX10 specific shader files and the like (General10.fx, General10.fxh, etc. etc.).
