Luke,

Thanks for those shots :)

Are they taken from the VC only or from the 2D?

No 2D panel on this plane, so VC only.

Time to wake up Luke, your flight to Copenhagen departs in 3 hours   And please keep us drooling over LOTS of screenshots.

very nice shots. Glad to find them here (a little hard to find the beta testers posts amongst everything else). But sure looks much better here than on FB with their very poor and not conservative compression it really does not do justice to the original picture as it does here. Great job.

Especially like the wingview too, having flown 8 roundtrips in 777 and often got around the wing area, as it's AF location for Premium class seats :) Very much like I remember.

Now that I've finished going through the all FCOM and FCTM which I purchased from PMDG, all I can do is wait for it to finally get here. Maybe the hardest part.

I wonder if Luke could actually sleep instead of lying in heaven with a very big smile on his face

Change of plan for today - I went with ANZ1 from Heathrow to Los Angeles. Here's a shot I took during pre-flight. You can see PMDG have modelled the FMC in every way - allowing you to enter some complex coordinates.

Can follow the progress here: http://www.vataware.com/flight.cfm?id=12119897

I'll be updating this thread with more shots as we ponder along  B)

By the way- you guys are just awesome. Some really, really nice comments - thank you all so much!

After clearing some CB's over Glasgow- direct to BALIX which is the start of our random North Atlantic Track across Iceland & Greenland... it's been a while!  ^_^ Rene took the first break and is in the bunk - we've only been airborne 40 odd minutes!!

Very nice shots. I guess you setup fixes (green dotted circles) for the different alternates for ETOPS ?

Hey Luke ,nice pictures and hope the flight is going well.

Just one question, have PMDG  accurately modeled the sound sound of the flaps retracting from the wing view , I really enjoy listening to the whining of the hydraulics in the real bird and hoping its replicated well in the product.

Thanks

I will answer for Luke here, whilst he is off cruising at high altitude. The short answer is yes, everything from the motors to the actual metallic noises of the flaps sliding around! It is quite amazing to listen to!

Fantastic thread Luke!
