October 18, 201312 yr That's what I'm confused about. From those posts I get the impression it's not so much the product that's cancelled as John's involvement in it? i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
October 18, 201312 yr "People you are dealing with an organization who lies an manipulates to get what "they" want" (as stated by John on the x-pilot forums) - I wonder exactly what/whom is being referred to here? This is a massive disappointment! It was just what X-plane needed.
October 18, 201312 yr This is very very sad news! I really wish the developers all the best and hope that this promising looking add-on will not be dropped completely! For the first time since ages i even considered reinstalling XPlane on to my PC again for he first time since ages, now with the latest released SAAB add on plane and this great and promising looking cloud/sky add on here on top of it all then - well that was my plan. But now? I really liked the features presented here very much! And XPlane, although looking very good sometimes, does - overall - not look that convincing to me. So no joking here: This add-on might have been a game changer for me regarding XPlane. But now ... :( "People you are dealing with an organization who lies an manipulates to get what "they" want" ... what organization - and what effected Your so far great looking developments so badly that they are not being released? Again: This is very sad news! In anyways and even more important now though: Good luck to all the people involved into this project and all my best wishes to You! And i can just encouragingly repeat once again what others have pointed out before: This - your - add-on here looks most amazing! Cheers, Christoph Enjoy flying and happy landings.
October 18, 201312 yr The more I try to get closer to X-Plane, the more reasons I find to get away from it :-( What's going to fail next? And I am sure it's not John's fault, as much as I am sure that he wouldn't certainly want to comment more on it.... Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
October 18, 201312 yr Moderator #####, I thought it was a joke. This product was going to be a must-have hit for X-Plane, and it's been cancelled? Really disappointed
October 18, 201312 yr Doesn't say cancelled, just that John is no longer involved: http://forums.x-pilot.com/topic/5888-redpiper1-is-really-pumping-them-out/?p=62559 ... Still, all very, very strange. " ..... it will probably be under a new name with a new face" Danny Hicks
October 18, 201312 yr #####!! It would nice to know a little bit more about what happened, at least I won't be buying it.

October 18, 201312 yr Thx for the link Goran! So, after all we will still have SkyMAXX  !!!! Let's forget about this episode and let John concentrate fully on is project now!!!! Was just a nightmare... ( I even woke up at 05:00 and found the post in my morning poll of the forums... ) Flying gliders since 1980 Flightsimming since 1992 AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)
October 18, 201312 yr Mmmhh that's a first in Flight Simming for me. Maybe a good way to get the attention of someone but probably not helping future sales figures if half your prospective clients have had heart attacks. Anyway hopefully the show continues and like others looking forward to the end result.
