Your best airport

Aerosofts Munich. One of my favorites in real life and I think they did an excellent job on it. Never get tired of flying into it. And as a plus, I gets all my favorite sim aircraft in real life

Very stiff competition but if it had to be ONE it would be Flytampa Hong Kong Kai Tak. The amount of detail that went into it is nothing short of amazing. And the fact I can do the checkerboard approach over Kowloon on my 2.4 gHz laptop with no major performance hit puts it into the number one position.

Other favorites include

Flytampa Dubai Rebooted

Flightbeam Phoenix

Flytampa Chicago Midway

Orbx Alice Springs

Orbx Broome

Thai Creation Kathmandu

My current favourite would be UK2000's Gatwick Xtreme, it's my home airport and I love the atmosphere especially when it's bchocka block with AI,and it's nicely lit by the warm sun at dusk.

Runners-up would be FSDT KLAX, and Aerosoft's Amsterdam Sciphol, again I just find them atmospheric and well made.

I have just bought FT St Maarten complete, looking forward to trying it out in the coming days.

FlightBeam KIAD is becoming my favorite. FDST KJFK V2 is not far behind.

Well, I think that the best airport could be a kind of "home" in the virtual aviation world, so it is not necessarily the top notch payware. I have found a lot of cozy atmosphere among the Drzewiecki's Polish airports and LH Simulations freeware Hungarian airports. Real world connections have often put me to Vienna and Bratislava, which both have great payware creations in sim. Of course FTX has many airports at very good standard as well, but they are so numerous that I've rarely visited them more than twice. If I really have to name one it got to be Bratislava...

FS Dreamteam - JFKvol2 and CYVR

Fly/Tampa - CYUL

Flightbeam - KiAD

EKSP Skrydstrup, by Troels Brand Partoft/shelters by Kim Dahl (freeware, don't think you can find it anywhere anymore).

Nothing special, but it's the only scenery I know for the home of the Danish Vipers, so it's my home too.

I just picked up St. Marteen and am working some kinks out of it but it looks promising. I may end up getting fly tampa hong kong as I have been thinking about it for awhile but dubai is tempting as well. I never looked at PANC before this.

My favorite thus far is probably Stewart Orbx (CZST), not just because of the graphics (which are some of the best in the game), but because it is one of the few bush airports I can land a 757 on :)

I practice my No-ILS 757 landings at that airport, I am about 50/50 thus far in living through the landing :P

The Instant Replays are incredible at that airport.

TropicalSim's Sao Paolo Congonhas. Challenging airport. Some sneaky scenery designing required at the runway ends as the airport is on a plateau. They've captured the feeling of the airport.

1) TNCM (Princess Julliana) from Fly Tampa (and St. Barths and the other one)

2) OMDB (Dubai) from Fly Tampa

3) Kai Tak (Fly Tampa)

4) PHNL (O'ahu) from FSDT along with MegaScenery's O'ahu

5) PARO Bhuton from Thai Creations... Although the airport addon eye candy is not the best, Flying the Aersoft's Airbus Extented the proper way is a fantastic experience.. this goes will with their Amazing VNKT (Katmandu Nepal) good eye candy too.  I consider these two airports as one set.

6) Orbx KBVS and PNW

7) Aerosoft's Alaskas's St. Stevens.

8) Aerosoft's entire Greek Island series.

IF I have to pick one (tough), it's  PARO ...and Kai Tak.. (Ha Ha)

Then I saw this today...
