Do we have to uninstall the ngx sp1d before run the new full installer, is this right?

 

You can try using  the repair method as I suggested  above your post, if  you find issues  with the ngx  using the repair  method  than yes  you have  to uninstall  and re install using  the download  installer that you have downloaded  from your account

So basically, you're asking this on the wrong forums... if you want to exchange/swap your DVD-version for a download-version, you should direct your question to the appropriate distributer ...  :rolleyes:

What it comes down to, is that I was wondering why we're still spending money on publishing DVDs, while downloads are so much faster and cheaper, knowing that if we want the software on DVD, we can easily burn the downloaded files to DVD ourselves.

 

But then I'll take it up with Aerosoft, see what they have to say and if it would be possible to have the license changed.

Should we completely uninstall older version and install 1.10.6461?

Are there any changes in INI files (keyboard shortcuts) and in panel state files in this update?

I'm asking because I don't know if I should backup these files and can overwrite 1.10.6461 version files or have to set everything from the scratch. I spent much time to set all this stuff. I have v1.10.6436 installed.

Thanks for this update just a quick question regards the 777, you mention an update coming, does this update address the compatibility fixes (mentioned in the base pack intro) and INOP Taxi Cam in the 300ER for P3D V2.5 as well? OR just the memory leak?

Does the installation overwrite the up to date Nav database with an older one?

I clicked the installer and it automatically said it's updating version 6436 to 6461. Didn't have to do a thing.
