August 10, 201510 yr Commercial Member Hm, do you know more than we do? Some inside information? No. But FSUIPC.dll being a 32 Bit dll, and knowing a 64 Bit process cannot load a 32 Bit dll, this infers.... Gerald R https://www.multicrewxp.com
August 10, 201510 yr Educated guess and you will buy V3 just like the rest of Us I never said I wasn't interested in v3... I am certain I will buy it! I only meant to say I wasn't interested in educated guesses and that I won't think too much about v3 until I've heard some official news about it.
August 10, 201510 yr I am betting 3.0 will be 32 bit. I would tend to agree. I'm thinking improved memory management (better at releasing memory back to the sim, better use of video card memory, etc.) is more likely than 64-bit.

The official news will come the day it is released most likely.

August 10, 201510 yr P3D V3 will be released on November 24th 2015! This is of course speculation on my part :-) That's 106 days way :-)
August 10, 201510 yr Author LM site is definitely getting some new upgrades today. To access my downloads, the user interface has changed. It list all my licenses (I had few different types) and their expiration etc. Everyone should enjoy what they have, and just be super excited as when the news come out as it will be fun times. I love how the excitement is building up How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
August 10, 201510 yr Educated guess and you will buy V3 just like the rest of Us Let me read your mind. V3 will be 32 bit, DX12 and Win 10 compatible. It should support most add-ons with only installer changes in order to cope with the name of the main P3d install folder. The 64 bit V4 is right behind it and may only be available initially in the Pro Plus version for LM's commercial users. It will use many of the same file formats as FSX and 32 bit P3d, but there will be major work needed by 3rd party vendors in order to support 64 bit. Oh, and John V of ORBX should be happy if he decides to charge for V3 compatibility. Now for me, I'm not buying V3, because I've decided to forgo Win 10 until I buy a new computer, which may be never.

August 10, 201510 yr I may buy V3 but i am staying with Windows 7. There would probably be no reason for anyone to upgrade to v3 unless they plan on updating to Windows 10. As jabloomf1230 said and I agree, this will be a 32bit update with DX12 integration. From what I have read of DX12, this should help immensely with draw calls and help move most all the processes to the GPU. I would hope we will see at least a 60fps average now with better than average hardware. I know this has nothing to do with P3D, but it is amazing nonetheless (DX12 Demo) https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=28&v=SN2ayVd9-3E

August 10, 201510 yr If these speculations are true - which I tend to believe - and it would indeed be relased within the next weeks, it would be the very first DX12 program at all, right? I made a search but everyone states DX12 games are expected by the end of 2015 and there's nothing available (except one benchmark) right now. Would be truly remarkable, wouldn't it?
