September 19, 201510 yr Author It will be nice to finally have an announcement. Hopefully they will disclose the new features. Like 128 bit, and guaranteed 100 FPS on an laptop with an i3 and MS graphics chip. with all sliders maxed and all Orbx scenery.
September 19, 201510 yr Fix the VAS memory issues, and an increase in FPS around 3rd Party Airports and I'd be one happy camper.
September 19, 201510 yr Fix the water issues and the broken cloud rendering, sharpen up the VC shadows (still not as sharp as DX10) The VAS issues are something I have never run into, FPS are fine and the poor anti aliasing is down to how DX11 does it's rendering, nothing LM can do about that unfortunatly.
September 19, 201510 yr sharpen up the VC shadows (still not as sharp as DX10) What texture size are you running Glynn? Rob ran a video (last year?) showing the effect of texture size on VC shadow sharpness ... it was sharpest at 4096 if I recall correctly.
September 20, 201510 yr Funny they have put this up at the weekend, especially if WE are not the target audience ? September 20, 201510 yr we're their marketing! Could be. I'd be interested to see how they market P3D to their corporate and military customers.
September 20, 201510 yr Could be. I'd be interested to see how they market P3D to their corporate and military customers. It's probably just bundled with hardware. But getting young kids hooked on flying f-22's and familiar with their whole fleet so they know what they're talking about when they join the AF so they can make it into the pentagon to make purchasing decisions, even camel cigarettes can't do that anymore. September 20, 201510 yr we're their marketing! I doubt that; i think they probably view this community as paying (and enthusiastic) testers for the product, i would be surprised if the commercial customers upgrade straight away, so that leaves simmers to iron out the bugs for the big guys. I suppose it's a win-win scenario. Ian R Tyldesley

September 21, 201510 yr Once the release announcement is made, does that mean the NDA is lifted and testers will be able to show video footage of the enhancements in action ?
