November 4, 201510 yr Marshall, I don't follow you? I point the installer at P3Dv3. There is no option to delete the \Flight Simulator x part from the .016 Install dialog box. Pete There was an option on my install Works great btw. Michael Moe Michael Moe

Pete When you choose a folder and click OK, it always puts /Flight Simulator x behind it. On the page you're now, just put a cursor in that line and use backspace. Cheers! Maarten
November 4, 201510 yr Mouseviator - FS Logbook Editor now at v1.32 to cater for P3D v3 for those that use it; though v1.31 happily worked with v3 as well. Cheers, Geoffrey Easton
November 4, 201510 yr Haven't seen anything on the Digital Aviation PA 31 Cheyenne. I recall it worked ok in P3D v2. Have tried to install it in V3, and from my quick observation everything works except you can't use the mouse to set the heading bug and CRS on the HSI. November 4, 201510 yr Ok Orbx just waiting on you now... lol Sorry to say, but I think it really sucks that they do not release the updated ObjectFlow.dll. With it, I would assume most if not all Orbx add-on airports work without problems in P3Dv3... Don't really understand what takes this much time. FYI: the A318/A319 is released Thanks David, great news! [email protected] ∣ Asus ROG Strix B650E-E ∣ 64Gb@6000MT ∣ NVidia 5090 FE
November 4, 201510 yr Author Thanks Rob for the heads up Ton of Flytampa airports updated for V3 install - super job George http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7797&p=48425#p48425 Rich Sennett

Id read somewhere that they couldnt get a hold of the guy who programmed it. My thing is, I thought they were involved in the beta. I would have had the ball rolling before V3 was released to the public.

No. They have already stated that the new Objectflow.dll is finished, but they have only distributed it to their developers to check whether the airports need adjustments in P3Dv3. That's why I think it is annoying. The thing is finished but they don't give it to their customers. That's because they have that attitude that it is somehow "forbidden" to install a P3Dv2 product into v3... Anyways, I won't buy any of their products anymore. Don't like their attitude lately... November 4, 201510 yr To be fair, ORBX have provided support for a lot of their products across multiple versions of FSX/P3D without charging for new licenses across platforms. Attitude...yeah a little, but maybe worth overlooking. The truth is, though, if they release the dll and it turns out it causes problems in 1 or more of their airports, it will cost them more in support time and energy than just verifying it before release. Can't fault them for that. Chris
November 5, 201510 yr Author Honestly I dont see any issues with Orbx's attitude and I would be the first to call them out on it - they are doing a heck of a job - not sure why the negative post Rich Sennett
November 5, 201510 yr Thanks Rob for the heads up Ton of Flytampa airports updated for V3 install - super job George http://www.flytampa.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=7797&p=48425#p48425 I saw this and downloaded Copenhagen. However, it says in the forum message that the installer will now point to your v3 installation path. I thought we wanted to keep addons away from the default folder? Moreover, Emil at FlyTampa has previously posted instructions on how to install 2.5 compatible products in v3 (not default path) and adding them manually through scenery library. I thought they wanted to continue on that approach. Nevertheless, Copenhagen v 1.3 works excellently. Performance is good. VAS is very good. Brynjar Mauseth
