Prepar3D v3.2 is out !

I am so happy that I like to do complete reinstalls every now and then.

Windows 10 makes it so easy, too... the Settings > Updates and Security > Recovery > Reset This PC tool is absolutely fantastic. Absolutely virgin, squeaky-clean install without the need for a boot DVD or USB... and relatively quick, too!

I've created a few hard drive clones from various points in the chore, for backup purposes and to make refreshing my PC very straightforward. I typically go for my "ConfigNoApps" clone, which is my Windows 10 with no 3rd party applications whatsoever, configured and set exactly how I like it, and patched up to the date of the build. Slap that build onto my hard drive, pop on the latest nVidia driver and get it freshened up with the latest security patches, and I'm off to the races.

Although I know Lockheed Martin has made great strides in creating a more modular simulator which can better withstand component updates, I still have the habit of performing full-blown reinstalls. Clean, functional, happy!

I installed client, scenery, and content. All of Orbx enhanced regions and airports are fine, minus objectflow atm of course. Global will need reinstalling since it replaces default textures in the P3D root. No worries on this end. Can't imagine it being any different elsewhere.

Thanks. It was much easier than I originally thought. Just as you said, did the update and then reinstalled FTX Global. Done and good to go. Thanks again!

Thanks! Same here. Everything is nice. Only reinstalled FTX Global.

I believe Orbx has to updates its objectflow, once it's updated you should no longer get that error message!

LOL Bill, no matter how many time either you or anyone else posts that, it seems like some people are worried that without the hotfix, that they are missing out on something both exciting and valuable.

There used to be a website where you could download any Windows OS hotfix that MS had ever released. Of course, most of them were for esoteric and obscure issues, like for example that your Bluetooth Hair Dryer was not recognized by 64 bit Windows XP. But nonetheless people went crazy and downloaded hotfixes for no reason at all.

Hi Everyone,

I have both Taubret night lighting and the night lighting from NE. I am liking Night Environment Florida more and more each day. This is where I'm at so far, look how the lights don't look like big blobs on short final. I'll have some additional photos online shortly.

That is not correct as the SDK has also been updated to 3.2.3

So now I am uninstalling Content + Professional Client and reinstalling their 3.2.3 versions...

It is correct, the SDK is a complete separate dl from the main P3d content, expand the tab`s in your dl area and you will see the SDK pack at the bottom, so as i said unless you are paid subscription you do not need the hotfix, everything works fine.

Go to the FS DreamTeam website and download and install the Standalone Addon Manager.  It has been updated for P3Dv3.2.

The website is gone (Probably MS frowned on having a 3rd party provide hotfixes to the immediate world)  but now there's an app for that:

http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/System-Miscellaneous/Windows-Hotfix-Downloader.shtml

(Note, I have no idea what else this app might do to your computer, but I feel bad that your hair dryer isn't working properly).

Go to the FS DreamTeam website and download and install the Standalone Addon Manager.  It has been updated for P3Dv3.2.

Best regards,

As always you were Spot On... Thanks, and where do I send the Check too?
