August 28, 20169 yr Yeah, I'm surprised FSX made such a list at all, much less to be ranked as high as 23rd. Of the games on that list, other than FSX, I've played: Pong, 40th. Galaga, 35th, and I remember playing it's predecessor, Galaxian. Donkey Kong, 28th, and I have also played its clone, Congrilla, which was illegal in the U.S., but some of these machines made it into the U.S. market. Space Invaders, 19th. Ms. PacMan, 5th. All when they were new and all played in arcades, hotel lobbies, or convenience stores. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

August 28, 20169 yr I think the most universally accepted definition of a game is it that it requires both winners and losers. Even on a video game, someone is always trying to get a higher score than the previous best. I suppose on a flight sim app, you're a winner if you land "safely", and if you crash, well, ya know...
August 28, 20169 yr Commercial Member Also shocked it made the list at all. Kyle Weber (Private Pilot, ASEL; Flight Test Engineer)Check out my repaints and downloads, all right here on AVSIM
August 28, 20169 yr I am waiting for those to jump in and say 'we are not a game' Well, its not, it's a simulation. Anyhow, Falcon 4.0 should be on that list.
August 28, 20169 yr Well, its not, it's a simulation. The Publisher called FSX a game and Aces a gaming studio, it is others that call it something else to remove their association with gamers. I see it as a hobby, which also means for entertainment or relaxation etc, and like most hobbies it is an expensive never ending money pit. I don't care if it is called a game or not, it is what it is. Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

August 29, 20169 yr Flight Simulator X, meanwhile, let players into the control tower, giving birth to a diehard community of simmers who to this day spend hours flying and directing mock routes. Ehhh... I luv playin' wiv ma simul8or
