September 22, 20169 yr Has anyone noticed that you can leave skidmarks if you lock up the brakes? Although on duals you just get a single mark. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
September 22, 20169 yr I am using global and I did not reinstall looks like its in place but wouldnt hurt to install it again actually - hmm From what I understand if one updates scenery then Global textures are overwritten, so one must reinstall Global to "refresh" the textures. (No need to do the backup again). Cheers. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

September 22, 20169 yr I am using global and I did not reinstall looks like its in place but wouldnt hurt to install it again actually - hmm When you Install Orbx Global it will replace\ Add and Modify most of your Default 8,194ish files + pumping in a load more of course up and over 11000 in total but still leaving about 336ish Default Prepar3D files that stay there. When you run a Repair or Update the Scenery Component it will return the 8000 + files back to default again, Leaving you with 3000 + Orbx Global files and 8000 + Default files  A nice little mixture going on there

September 23, 20169 yr Hi guys, personally I think the Vas leak is back. Before I was able to fly into FlyTampa Toronto in the 777 and NGX and now when I do it after updating to 3.4 I OOM. Anyone else getting vas issues? I've talked to a few people on Facebook and they said before they updated they were able to fly the 777 from KIAD to EGLL and now after updating they are OOM. Thanks Wayne George Wayne George

September 23, 20169 yr I am sticking with P3D v3.3.5 for the moment. Everything is working fine, and I can always upgrade at a later date if I discover that there have been spectacular improvements to the water animation above 1000 feet  Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
September 23, 20169 yr This update is a game changer for me-I fly in VR exclusively and with Flyinside the improvements are significant. Jay
September 23, 20169 yr Hi there, now that 3.4 is out and all the usual updates as well i upgraded. Did an unistall/install of client and content and i was good to go. However i had to reinstall Global and Vector and som enviromental textures such as REX and the simple sun mod. Some of you had an impression of a much smoother sim. Well i do have the same impression. especially when it comes to lots of autogen buildings. I think that is smoother too. I tried everything with the PMDG NGX and i have barely seen drops below 25 FPS. Having taged "Force BKN to 7/8th" that will be the killer in very dense autogen situations. So in my cas i leave that one off. It also seems that autogen now faster generates. Maybe it is an placebo effect but i dought it. Greetz MJ My youtube blog________________________Prepar3D v2.5/v3
September 23, 20169 yr I'm running 3.3.5 Professional now. If I just install the Client to get 3.4.9, I can't help but feeling that I am neutering the sim a little as the Scenery and Content and all the rest of the 9GB of P3D files (the Client is a measly 128MB or so of that) is still in a previous version. Fighting the urge to reformat the PC and start again. I know it is a hassle but short term pain for long term peace of mind simming. At least I know that for the next few months (until the next version release), I will have a true v3.4.9, as good as it gets, not half baked. As it is, the Client update requires (if my understanding is correct) a reinstall of FTX Global and Vector, REX, updates to AS2016 and FSUIPC, Q400 etc.... So I'm thinking, just do it 'properly' first time. Anyone else think like this or is it just me? GregH Intel Core i7 14700K / Palit RTX4070Ti Super OC / Corsair 32GB DDR5 6000 MHz / MSI Z790 M/board / Corsair NVMe 9500 read, 8500 write / Corsair PSU1200W / CH Products Yoke, Pedals & Quad; Airbus Side Stick, Airbus Quadrant / TrackIR, 32” 4K 144hz 1ms Monitor
