Whether he provides the best news is not the point. The point is that he knowingly took everyone for a ride even after seeing all the hype after round p3d v4. It's irresponsible behavior best it's what is to be expected from a news source. Anything for more views.

What is interesting though is that the original Innsbruck post on Orbx forums with the screenshots dates from 7h ago (http://www.orbxsystems.com/forum/topic/130900-ftx-innsbruck-full-preview-2-a-few-of-my-favourite-things/) while AirDaily X tweet was 6h ago...  and Rob A asking in the comments how is the night lighting - maybe it is screenshots of Innsbruck in P3D v4 and the big news are still to come?

AirDailyX is easily the best in flight sim news.  He provides up to the date news.

I used to like this site, but have lost interest lately. I don't like the personal tone he puts on his news. Posts with his memories like now in Innsbruck. Or for example I remember I was waiting to see the LFPG live stream and he was hovering all over Paris for so long narrating his memories from his vacations there (literally I didn't care). Not very professional. Also lately trash videos "proving" (??) that aircraft contrails are a real conspiracy etc. He also missed all the 747 hype as said. Enthusiasic promotion of Aerofly as the ultimate winner just because of ORBX where completely different league from P3D. Now this targeted tweet to raise traffic. Prefer the other news site to be honest. Just my opinion.

What reason would that be?  If you type PMDG or 747 in his search you will find numerous articles on the 747 and every PMDG product. 

 

And he announced the 747v2 this way which was kind of funny since its like reporting the sun is going to rise since everyone in the FS community knew it was released to the nanosecond.

Sheesh its his fault you misinterpreted something.  He doesn't read AVSIM forums so probably wasn't all superhyped about P3D v4 like we are.  Guess no one gets a break around here.  And by people's comments about how awesome Innsbruck is, it sounds like a big announcement. 

 

Just relax.

I tend to get my info from the source. Glad I didn't ride this hype train today.

Well he did leave a post for the release saying "So this happened" with a screen shot but the post was locked for comment. I'm guessing he has an ax to grind with PMDG, maybe since they won't feed him confidential info that he's privy to with other developers to provide exclusive updates. Who knows, just a guess on my part, but he spends more time highlighting Carenado products that he did with the new 747.

 

One thing I do know, he absolutely hates BluePrint and stops and no effort to trash them which I find is a shame. Granted not everyone likes BP scenery but his blatant trashing of them I don't like.
