Maybe I missed it, but has there been any word on EditVoicePack? To me, personally that is another must have add-on. Tho, I will be a Day1 buyer regardless. Thanks

Aerosoft released the updated P3D v4 installer for the Twin Otter.

I see the update info on the forums but it doesn't look like online re sellers have the file updated as yet (I got it through fspilotshop). Is there a way to download the updated file by providing your key on the Aerosoft t site? I looked around and didn't see that option.

I'm totally lost here. Correct me if I'm wrong.

FS Global 2010 and Ultimate will not be compatible with V4

FS Global Ultimate Next Generation will support V4 and will release download version.

FS Global 2018 will replace 2010 and old Ultimate, same features, just support V4.

Thank you

Hoang Le

I really don't see why Ultimate wouldn't work in v4. I'd bet a shekel it does.

Dev will be working on making it compatible with p3d v4 once it's released. He claims it will take some weeks and there is no mention of whether it will be a free upgrade.

I've posted in their forum to see if it will be a free upgrade.

Cool, hopefully it shouldn't take long :)

Anyone know any news about the RAZBAM Metroliner for v4?  Would the current P3D install be compatible?

Apparently fsuipv5 will be payware?

I hope it is exclusively payware from this point on, he deserves it.

Fsuipc v3,v4, has always been payware if you need it's advanced functions or even value the contribution Peter Dowson has made to the hobby over the years, lets not forget he has also provided free updates to v4 for the last 10 years.

I agree that Pete deserves the revenue, I just have to factor that additional cost into my p3dv4 purchase.

I expect to have a comment on P3Dv4 support within 24 hours after P3Dv4 release - as long as the download servers are not flooded so I can get my hands on the thing. :)

OK, the download server was fine (20MB/s) only the "middleman" server was somewhat damp. :)

So this can be added to the sheet:
Addon developer name: Lars Møllebjerg
Product Name: EditVoicepack XL
P3D v4 compatibility: Pending
ETA: A few Weeks
Pricing: Free upgrade

Update: so far so good, the runway lights just look...weird though.

The RealAir Turbine Duke V2 works, except for the lack of the miscellaneous system sounds (flaps, brake squeals, gear up/down, etc.) which are provided by Doug Dawson's sound gauge, which presently is only 32 bit. Obviously, the embedded Flight1 GTN 750 does not work as it is awaiting an upgrade for P3d V4. Performance with everything set to the max is about the same or a bit better as P3d V3 with my system (GTX 1080,  i7-6700k (OCed to 4.4), 32 GB RAM, Win 10) but it's hard to really tell since no Active Sky 16 and only default scenery/AI traffic. But at least I have rain on my windshield. I set up the TD as a formal P3d addon, by copying what A2A did with the C172 and pointing it to the existing TD path.

The A2A C172 also works fine with it's V4 installer, but I was having trouble with the autopilot altitude setting which I'm presently attributing to pilot error. Also, I couldn't figure out how to install the C172 to anywhere but the default C: drive.

Also, a word of caution, if you use SpeedTrees and a dense vegetation autogen setting, you will regret it. It drops my FPS from the 40s down to the low teens with massive stuttering added in as a free bonus. Make sure that you realize that turning on and off the 3D trees option requires restarting P3d.

Where are add-ons being installed? Is it in fact in the documents folder on the C drive?
