This belongs to the minimum of a good Flightsim. Dyn Lighting : hopefully they can make it less taxing but it also depends on your graphics card. I have it enabled all the time and icw with every airport that has it. I had to finetune it with PTA to avoid too much bloom/brightness. And what is really important : more core 0 threads to the other threads to improve further performance... How did you do this? Does the adjustment affect just DL or all lighting? I asked a while back if this could be done and got no replies. Looks like it CAN be done. Cheers, Mark

I feel the same way, land at a new airport scenery, pull up the GSX menu and see word not allowed for parking availability. So that means I need to use the GSX menu editor to fix their word not allowed afcad. Eric

February 1, 20188 yr Oh man....I did a poll and many pointed the time frame in March. Lol. If it happens sooner, great!!!! How I Evaluate Third Party Sim Addon Developers Refined P3Dv5.0 HF2 Settings Part1 (has MaddogX) and older thread Part 2 (has PMDG 747)
February 1, 20188 yr As far as V4 is concerned I haven't seen blurry's and stutters as bad since FSX. I am hoping that the 4.2 will address blurry's and stutters then I'll be happy
February 1, 20188 yr Hope not, every time that LM brings a new version starts the non compatible addons feast, but of course there are some nasty bugs i would love to see addressed, first one the autogen/blurrys loading problem with no frame rate limit!! It's only a minor update, I wouldn't read too much into Lockhead's future intentions if the improvements are of a relatively minor nature. February 1, 20188 yr Personally I'm hoping for an autogen loading fix, as I'm currently back to 4.0 as for me at least this was a vast 'improvement' on 4.1. Luke Spencer

I never did move to 4.1. I stayed with 4.0. The 4.1 improvements list looked hugely impressive in size but there was nothing there to make me move. Hoping 4.2 changes that - which I'm sure it'll do. It's usually every 2nd point release which brings some significance to the end user table.

LOL! Your call sign isn't "Viper" it's "Joker" isn't it? My plans are to Fsxise my P3dv4.1. It runs exactly how I want. My add ons all work with 4.1. Most new add ons should be backward compatible with 4.1. So I can't think of any updates that would cause me to "update". Just my twopenneth, many will disagree but I am tired of new stuff breaking old stuff! Or, in other words, if it ain't broke don't fix it! Best regards.
