AIG AI Manager

That will depend on whether you are talking about the freeware or payware version of FSUIPC. I use the freeware version.

 Is it KillAI?

That would be the Traffic Zapper. I assign it to the delete key.

Could those of you who are experienced in limiting AI with FSUIPC share your [TRAFFIC LIMITER] settings here? I'd like to spread the AI across an airport as much as possible but instead it tends to bunch up around me. Pete, if you follow this, what settings do you use?

Thanks.

I too am not bothered in the slightest by AI getting in the way on approach or even when they do dumb things while taxiing. They are simply eye candy and I just ignore them.

I run a mix of custom and AI Manager traffic at 90% where it's common to have 200+ upwards to 600 ai in the bubble depending on location.

i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200,  RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

I have the traffic SDK installed so I can delete offending AI aircraft when they get in my way.  But year sometimes I just ignore their existence when it's inconvenient.

Hey guys so I’ve just downloaded this amazing traffic, first time using it and loving it so far.

Question thou, when I installed for instance qantas and clicked on bulk oci, does it install all the latest aircraft models and textures and also latest flight plans?
Or do I have to install them individually?

thanks

mike

Mike, it installs models, paints, schedules and even revised AI sound files. The only thing it won't do is buy any payware AI models for you. If you own them though, it will ask you where the  model's installation file is located and then it will install it.

AIG is pround to anncouce that the FAIB SimObjects (737, A32X, 747 and 767) are now PBR ready and will automatically converted on the next "Verify SimObject"-Run.

This PBR update is only for AIG-AI Manager as the models are converted localy on the computer of the user by AIGAIM.

Fantastic tool - thank you !!  If, during OCI, one opts to only pick a few of the available models for a particular airline, do you still get ALL the routes for that airline ?

best,

Thank you on behalf of an AI junkie! The AI Manager is a work of art. One question: will PBR create any fps hit? If so maybe I should backup the models I have.

Yes, every time another object in P3D gets PBR you're going to see an exponential drop in performance, especially when you have PBR airport, cockpit, and now AI along with dynamic lighting. Prepare for a slideshow.

best,

In case a model for a repaint is not installed the repaint and fltsim entry can not be installed. This causes that each registration assigned to this Aircraft will not be visible in the Sim.

It depends on many setting within your Sim and on your hadrware. Our tests have shown no real performance impact by PBR and in the end the visual improvement was much higher then the performance hit for us, thats the reason we have decided to go full PBR.

In case AI is causing a "slide show" on your end, we recommend to reduce the traffic activity levels in your Sim.

First of all, huge thanks for this amazing tool! Managing AI traffic has never been easier...

One thing I couldn't find in the manuals is how to backup the installation properly – in view of P3D V5, but also in case of a complete Windows reinstall, so that I don't have to redownload aircraft and repaints that I already have. As advised, I have installed the OCI outside the P3D main directory, in C:\Program Files\AIGAIM - OCI. Can I just save the entire folder to my external hard disk and then simply add it back to P3D later on? What should I take care of? Thanks a lot again!

PS: Are there any compatibility issues to be expected with P3D V5?
