Al I may be wrong but it appears it works also for unlimited.... On page 6 of this thread ses(mitch) posted part of the manual of the tool.It reads: -------------- " There are two options for dynamic FFTF calculation - frames range and AGL height range.Frames range optionSuggested for unlimited frames + VSync disabled + TB disabled. Stan Well, here is what Achilles wrote above, "At unlimited frames, p3d calls another code which simply ignores fftf value". So that's all I know. Al Edited May 15, 20206 yr by ark

May 15, 20206 yr Commercial Member Hi all, 1.) Unlimited frames inside p3d and fftf value inside .cfg does not have any effect 2.) Unlimited frames inside p3d and fftf value from FSPS FFTF does not have any big effect at high frames but has an effect at blurries and very low frames. To conclude, locked frames inside p3d and managed fftf value give you a more smooth without blurries flight experience while in most cases you can increase your p3d settings. May 15, 20206 yr If only simmarket has this available for the weekend... otherwise I buy it elsewhere, sick of waiting ;-) Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

May 15, 20206 yr I thought most people locked their frame rate outside P3D these days. In which case the tool doesn't do anything apparently. Saving that money. 😉

May 15, 20206 yr Haven't tried it till now in v5, but have had it with v4 and was satisfied. One question remains: does this als help with using less VRAM or is this comeplete unaffected? thx Guenter Steiner -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Betatester for: A2A, LORBY, FSR-Pillow Tester --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
May 15, 20206 yr This little jewel of a program.... P3D4.5 and the Ring That Rules Them All.. I'm in love....;) Locked 33 FPS in sim...and IT STAYS THERE....how come I didn't know about this program!?! @**$(@(())$$$)!!!!! I do now.... Edited May 15, 20206 yr by Sesquashtoo
