That AI tech for procedurally generated buildings and houses looks excellent. Looking forward to future updates of the algorithms that they mentioned, so the autogen can include restaurants, gas stations, big box stores, strip malls, and USA/Canada main street structures and facades, as well as even more variation in facades that we can see in recent and current builds.

I am very much looking forward to see the platform continue to evolve post-first release.

Very good Asobo 👏 because you have completely dropped the ball and jumped the shark 🦈on your current implementation of tree height for some varieties.🌲🌴 🤦‍♂️

Sydney  (for example) is an absolute abomination 💩 of wrong tree types 🌴and grossly exaggerated 🤢 and comical scale. 🤡

Ok, I've run out of emojis, carry on. 🙄😁

Because the scenery is streaming and will be updated at times, this sim should change and get better over the years, right. And as technology changes and gets better for that type of stuff, it will be constantly changing and updating. How often we have no clue? Has this ever been done in a game or simulator before? Not perfect, but absolutely amazing stuff we are seeing in this simulator, as far as the depiction of the world is concerned and should just get better over time.

They are aiming to update the world scenery every 3 months.

What would be funny is Asobo sending you a beta acceptance on the 18th August....

They'll stream X-plane base scenery to your version of the game.

Good to see the Incomplete G1000 on the issues list.  No indication that work is in progress though. Hope improving it is on the roadmap. 🤞

I'm fairly certain that G1000 wouldn't have turned up on the issues list unless they intended to do something about it. Just how much improvement will take place is another matter but it would be great if MS/Asobo could surpass XP's implementation of the G1000.

Give people power to really test their personality.

So the stutters many of us observed in the content creator videos were not due to every professional youtuber simultaneously forgetting how to capture stutter free gameplay video as theorized here but an actual issue in the game. Who would've thought...

That’s what I was asking myself. Did they say that? On the feedback snapshot they say „Bing Improvement Plan/Update Frequency — Answered“. Maybe I missed it.

When new photogrammetry pops up, they will let the algorithm run over everything at some point and then what? I guess what you stream comes from some source where they have the entire processed globe stored at? Not that it would change much but I’m just curious.

Thirty minutes from deploying a new algorithm to it processing the entire globe.  That... is impressive.

Hook

I heard 30 mins to deploy a new build to Azure, 72 hours to process... still pretty impressive.
