I'm fairly certain (like 99%) that it doesn't. And exactly how and why should it do that? You could set an alarm, if you're really set up to downloading it throught the night. Or you could - and I know this sounds extreme - do like regular mortals, just set it to download, when you get up tomorrow morning. 🙂

Would normally just start it in the morning but being the last day off before starting the work week back up with 16hr shifts, I’d like to enjoy it on the day off rather than wait for the download. Good ol’ work schedules!

The thing you have to realize is that you need to start the game in order for the big content package download to begin. The Steam or MS Store app is just the launcher.

Ah, I think I remember seeing something about that. Thanks for clearing it up!

Same thing with the Game Pass Standard Edition. Signed up yesterday and it just downloaded the launcher!

It doesn't go by your computer settings, it goes by your ISP

I live in New Zealand so not worried we will be first, you could change your computer settings all you want but you are connected to the internet in the USA, good luck won't work

That's what vpns are for

Well, I have waited over a year and a few month's. Think I can wait 24 hours or so 🙂 Of course how the download goes is a different thing! Hope smoothly for everyone, YEAH right!

They had a download time listed for Pitcairn, wonder how many (if any) Pitcairn islanders are simmers and/or how it looks in the sim.

The other issue is your credit card, most major online stores won't take a credit card from another country, that is the other verification

Augiust 18, 5:00 UTC is what time local? I get confused with these UTC/Zulu times. Does that mean when its 5AM local time in the UK on August 17th?

Yes, plus one hour for British Summer Time, IIRC. So that's 6 AM on August 18th in the UK.

If you want to know what the current UTC time is, it's easiest to set up an alternative time zone in your Smartphone, and set it to Reykjavik time. Iceland uses UTC time all year, without any confusing summer/winter time switches.

Just coming up to 06.50 UTC UK 17TH, MSFS start 23.00 17th today in the UK.

Go to World Time Server on the net will tell UTC time in your location.
