She's beautiful but the sensitivity on the ground is terrible and the thing won't follow GPS without zig zagging.  I should have known better than to trust Carenado.

While every Galaxy class starship has different flight characteristics, I can safely say the impulse drive sensitivity is way too underpowered and I’m going to be asking for a refund!

That did the trick - thanks so much for taking an interest and helping out - I owe ya!

She's a beaut, even if that elevator trim is a bit sensitive. Going to be a hoot doing some pattern work with her and getting familiar with her!

Gahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...there is no denying that they can make a great visual model.   If ever there was a case of lipstick on a pig...C'mon Carenado....I want to buy your stuff!!    Give me more than a beautiful model and you'll have my cash (probably's been said many times in the past) 😞

Yes the autopilot definitely acts drunk when trying to follow a GPS route.

Overall it’s nice, but after going for a flight I find myself questioning if it was worth the CDN$40 given that the default aircraft are of similar quality.  It’s cool to have a Mooney, but...

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

It is clear that the Carenado team produces the possible visuals for aircraft. I just think how good and more respected their models would be from a study level perspective with the addition of developers/programmers who could bring the guts of their modeling to the highest standard possible for the sim like A2A Simulations for example.

PS With all the insight here, does anyone know (even rumours) when we will have a GA plane for this sim that is close to the high end aircraft we are used to for the other sim platforms?

Holy Moly.  i have not flown the NYC area in MFS yet.  Looking at all those tall buildings makes me ask:  "how many plumbers live in that city?"  Just think of all the faucets, toilets, and shut off valves...

Before I purchase it, could anyone tell me, please, if that's the max zoom out ( cockpit view ) ??

Can't find the Speedbrake switch.   It could be right in front of me but I'm not seeing it.   There's a placard on the lower left of the dashboard warning about instructions for use, and there's an annunciator light in the status lights.  But I don't see the on/off switch.

I know for a fact there are dozens of plumbers in NYC.

It's on the yoke (left horn). Probably need to map a controller button for it.

Will seriously consider this offering as soon as fully functional GNS is available. Not until then.  Has MS accepted such a developer into the fold?  With open arms?  Nice eye candy MS. Now surprise that Carenado is early to the table.  Now please focus on realism.  Please!  Need partners that can provide more complete functionality.  Open up!

I wish for all those things too, but eye candy sells.  I finished watching the extremely short Textron partner video and they said their products in the sim were "crazy realistic." Yikes.
