I'm not sure he knows how to manipulate the cameras very well....and did any read his comments? In one reply he said "any aircraft that’s more fully featured has gotta be better than stock. Might grab the 182 also." He's from the DCS world and has no idea how Carenado's planes are "more fully featured"....I cringed.🤯 Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here

I just spent an hour trying to buy it from within the Marketplace option in the sim and all I get is "Order Pending", no messages in my XBox account or outlook account or anything,. and outlook account support is stumped so far. Or so they say. Sounds to me like the ol' lady got to them first. Turn on the overlay in the Steam client and that problem will go away. It's a sure cure. Nothing else will work. Click open the Steam Client to see the menu, then: Steam, Settings, In Game, Enable the Steam Client When In Game. Do that and no more "Order Pending" messages will happen in the Marketplace. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. As opposed to normal realistic I wonder? If I was in charge of all these virtual aircraft which possess dodgy electrics, then I'd be inspecting the battery terminals and the charging circuits It's almost as if there's a random battery life issue together with generators not working either yet no warnings to that effect. In FSX (I don't have the new sim so nothing concrete to go off) the default planes, especially the Cessna had ridiculously short battery lives, so much so that FSUIPC has an option in it to change that characteristic... @Chock I see what you did there with the Mooney's registration! 🍻 Mark Robinson Part-time Ferroequinologist Author of FLIGHT: A near-future short story (ebook available on amazon) I made the baby cry - A2A Simulations L-049 Constellation Sky Simulations MD-11 V2.2 Pilot. September 19, 20205 yr I had the Alabeo M20 for XPl11 with the RXP GTN 750 and I loved it while I had it on my SSD. It's hard for me to even think about buying this for the asking price when Carenado couldn't even take the time to upgrade the default GNS 530. After reading some of the issues, it saddens me that I will not be able to enjoy this in MSFS. I thank all of you for the initial reviews and for reminding me of why I always have to pause before I make a Carenado purchase. Update: The pause might be short lived. 😀 Edited September 19, 20205 yr by DJJose MSFS
September 19, 20205 yr Bought it. Flew it. Like it. But I see all the historic Carenado hate is showing up again. Honestly, this plane seems pretty decent. Performance so far from what I can glean is relatively close to the book. Autopilot wiggles a bit in turns but no issues on regular straight legs. Looks fantastic. One of the few aircraft with a bit of an old school avionics layout, including the Bendix DME. Some nice details like the external power, opening doors and windows etc. I have not noticed any show stopping issues at all. Pricing perhaps a bit steep but then I look on Simmarket for some SEP aircraft addons for previous sims... Aeroplane Heaven Tecnam for €34, Lionheart Bellanca Super Viking for €43 (does not even have custom sounds, uses default FSX/P3D GPS)... It really ain't that bad guys. There are more examples, these just stood out. If/when A2A joins the game you will probably see some nice premium prices for some shakes and rattles. By that time I will have enjoyed plenty of hours of fun, solid flying in the Mooney.
September 19, 20205 yr Just picked it up and gone for an flight around Urbana in low cloud It makes a nice Old school IFR platform , which is just what I wanted. It is perhaps not an aircraft I’d normally throw £25 at , but we’re all a bit of a captive audience at the moment given the circumstances and will grab anything new. Anyway I’m now part of a select elite group of flight simulator pilots that have a DME 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
September 19, 20205 yr Bought it and flew it from my home airport KSBM Sheboygan down to KUES Waukesha (Wisconsin - both cities and Milwaukee are filled with photogrammetry And KUES’ approach over the gravel quarries is fun BTW if looking for a short flight!) I like it so far...but am landing too fast despite full flaps and end up bouncing...I do this in my XP11 version so quite possibly pilot error. And can confirm the drunk autopilot NAV. But very nice, I’m enjoying it....hope they do the Citation and the Aerocommander and Turbocommander soon. 🙂 Steve

I know Carenado can produce some really nice look aircraft that have some issues. They have a long history of that. However, lately you have to deal with the 'I don't have the sim/aircraft, but it doesn't work' crowd. Folk stuck in their FSX/P3D environments for whatever reason. Hating for whatever reason I don't know. It isn't just this thread, but across the entire forum.
September 19, 20205 yr Commercial Member Autopilot NAV with VOR and GPS just PERFECT! To avoid Autopilot NAV 'zig-zag" flying you should have GPS DTK=CRS=HDG. Edited September 19, 20205 yr by OSM

Personally im curious about it crosswind approach & landing behavior (i.e. does it slide-slip well for xwinds, does it forward slip well for quick alt loss without speed gain?). *EDIT: also...does anyone know if this plane has flight director bars/wing on it's attitude indicator, and if so, does the flight director still function properly, laterally, if you leave the autopilot off? I one of the videos and it brought back memories. BTW, I see your location is NY. Many years ago I knew a CFI buddy of mine that had a Mooney parked at KFRG. That bird was fast and a joy to fly.
