Great patch for me just like the others.

Maybe 10 minutes to install.

Only thing I had to do was reinstall simconnect to make AirManager see FS2020.

M20 works perfectly as it did before. Did a socked in real WX flight KBOS to KPSM in the Mooney AP was super smooth en route, other than some turbulence as should be, and the approach was perfect on GS and Loc all the way down, I did handfly the last 1500' as I usually do. 400' cieling in PWM with gusty NE wind. Turbulence felt about right.

Great job, thanks ASOBO.

Anyone flown the A32NX bus yet?

There are glitches with the previous stable build (0.3.1), but the master build has been updated since the patch and they are already squashing the new bugs.

I downloaded the patch, and now the left front burner on my stove doesn't work.

Why MSFS...Why!!!!???

Stop buying addons and pay the gas bill.

Initial reactions (I didn't have the rolling or manual caches turned on as they supposedly caused issues):

  • Severe pauses/stuttering trying to land at KUAO (Aurora State, small airport south of Portland, Oregon)
  • Lower FPS when flying in Portland, Oregon; have had to reduce multiple graphics settings to compensate. On previous patch, I was mainly limited by GPU, now I was getting the CPU being the limiter many, many times during flight.

Will try with rolling cache enabled. Also am concerned as I was able to record 1080p30 video for uploading to YouTube before, am not sure I'll be able to after this latest patch as it's pegging my CPU.

Am installed through Steam, so Windows Store issues shouldn't affect me. Also rebooted after installing patch.

Edit: Oh, and it does appear that the VFR map works now.

Add note about VFR map

I downloaded the patch and the world has started spinning uncontrollably.

Note to self; Enough wine, Man!

On a serious note I reckon I've lost about 8 FPS all round.

Using the A32NX Downloader, I always install the Development Version. Believe me, there is always something new added, and at the same time it still remains 'stable'.

Its come a long way since the 0.3.1.

My aircraft now starts further back on the runway than before. Wonder if that's a general change or specific to some airports.

Issues with water waves still not fixed. I'm starting to miss the water from before the 1.8.3.0 patch so hopefully they'll deal with this in the next update.

Didn't see the LOD issue in my test flight, but then I couldn't reproduce it consistently. At least, should I run into that again, I should be able to get some video footage for Zendesk more easily thanks to the camera issues being fixed.

Had that since the Japan World patch a couple of weeks ago

Weird. Thanks for letting me know.

Ez Peazy update.

First quick impressions:

Navigating the menus / pictures seems more responsive. Loading is taking less time. Switching to Drone view doesn't cause the aircraft to spasm like a beached mackerel. Didn't have lightning appearing in partly cloudy skies.

Glad to see we are moving more towards having basic flight sim functionality! Great job, Asobo!

Everybody should check their graphics settings, as the sim tends to change them to defaults (often that means ultra) after an update.

I don't think my graphics settings were changed; they looked like the same mixture of settings I had set, but I lost maybe about 20fps? I've made some tweaks to reduce the loss...

Didn't see any changes in my graphics settings as usual, but this was the first update that did not reset my sharpening filter setting to on again.

Yup, only slight issue i noticed was a light flicker on centre panel. Initially done a EGLL-LFPG with the default A320, all good, VFR map and navigation all worked exactly as should.

Just completed a second flight with the A320NX by Flybywire, no issues as previous flight other than the light flicker mentioned above.

Forget the light flicker, all ok now.
