oddly for this update when I started the sim it skipped past the smaller Store update and went straight into the large 9+ GB one, never left the sim. It's all showing as being updated, and running fine though.

Did you ever resolve the issue?  I had that same message last update and did a google search of that issue.  Had to do some uninstalling and reinstalling of a few xbox/Microsoft stuff but it worked fine after that.  If you haven't resolved it yet, do that google search using the exact words.  It'll explain it.  I don't think it will go away on it's own, but who knows.

When I remove the liveries for all my aircrafts (since I am unable tp pinpoint the offenders), I have removed (I think) the CTDs

I have added all my payware addon scenernies

Now I need to start adding the many freeware sceneries. I've added all my sceneries..both payware and freeware... and it seems to be ok.

We need to figure out how to solve the livery issue

Seems like it. Hopefully they will be able to patch the flickering clouds as well, impossible for me to fly with any sort of weather now.

Its a good thing they delayed the update for a day so they could get all the bugs worked out,,,  ahahahahahahahahhaa

I updated unplugged and all is fine with the exception of avionics mods.  Anticipate they will get fixed ASAP.

Downloaded update with no issues. (removed all files from community first, as per release notes)

Using latest Nvidia drivers

No CTD upon startup

No Issues with sim noted to date.

Would be nice to dim the avionics in the tbm without having to install something else or modify a file,,,, why isnt this fixed yet

I'm glad 1 thing is fixed. HDR now works correctly in 4K. No more hideous Over gama. It's actually amazing.

Up in the air and only about 6 hours late on a flight.  Hehehe...  Dang, the night lighting really has south Florida lit up!  May be a bit much though.  Noticed a new weather page on the stock G1000 (not Nexrad but looks similar to what the airliners have).  Missing my track up though so waiting for the Working Title folks for their next update.

The wthomas USB controller fix (see the MSFS Tips and Tricks) worked for me and I'm back flying.
