AIG AI Manager OCI for MSFS – Development Announcement

I'm sure there is, but that's beyond the scope of what I was trying to achieve, which was to retain GA traffic from the default traffic.bgl file.

The subset should be set to Inclusive.

Thanks for the help.  It looks like I've got it set up correctly...AIG Traffic shows the two .bgl files I've created in the flight plans list.  I'm not seeing the traffic though for some reason.  Going to the specified airport in the flight plan list per AIFP, at the time specified.  Not sure why...I'll have to do more testing.

I read on the msfs forums that a package of the two .bgl files had to be created with AIFP, and then put into the community folder.  I'll have to figure out how to do that and test it.

You cannot move the community folder to another drive, only its contents. Move the contents to another folder on other drive and download MSFS Addon linker to link the files from the new folder to the original Community folder, as and when required.

That doesn`t work.

Even the content cannot be moved.Another idea?

About 5 min on a classic 2TB Samsung EVO SSD SATA drive. It takes long, but never those 20 minutes some users report here and elsewhere, I really wonder what is wrong on those rigs where this takes that long...

I read on the msfs forums that a package of the two .bgl files had to be created with AIFP, and then put into the community folder.  I'll have to figure out how to do that and test it.

This is how you'll create the traffic files in AIFP:

  1. Open AIFP and go to Files.
  2. Select Mount 2020 Traffic Files.
  3. Give the package a name. I used GA AI Traffic.
  4. Select the bgl file(s) you created that contain the GA traffic.
  5. Press Continue. AIFP will create the correct folder containing those bgl files inside Community.

I did do a little bit more testing last night and was able to get GA traffic when I set AI traffic to AI Offline. MSFS used the bgls that AIFP placed in the Community folder and I confirmed that I had no other bgl files (other than ships) in my Official folder. You should be able to go back to that airport at the correct time and see your GA traffic after that.

Hope this helps!

Yes, after some fiddling around this morning and reading the manual a bit...this exactly what I did, and it seems to be working like a charm.  Thank you for the help!

Go to their discord, in the channel "AIM support" there is a pinned tutorial.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Is it possible to add a downloaded ia plane that works in game like ATR72 , if its possible, how to add ?

thanks

I got some EasyJet planes at Bristol yesterday. Together with Tui and one Ryanair. But nothing at Norwich where I was hoping to see Flybe.  Guess it's the US that gets the best experienced with local UK airports not yet catered for. Ditto Exeter. Nowt.

This may be of use to you...  you fly in the same area as me 🙂

I posted a question on the AIG forums about FlyBe being a dead airline but was it available and was told that to get dead airlines you could go to http://www.alpha-india.net/aigfiles/files/Flightplans/  and search there.. so I did and went to the Summer 2018 directory.  Downloaded the Summer 2018 FlyBe flightplans as a zip and then opened the manager and under flightplans selected install from local zip  and added the Flybe zipfile.  It downloaded the routes and the appropriate aircraft and on a quick check, I had an Q400 in Flybe livery at Exeter and a couple of Flybe's at Bristol (along with the Ryanairs and EasyJets and a KLM).

Thought this may help.

No, but the ATRs will be coming to AIG, rather sooner than later I think.

Thanks Graham for that tip!
Could be useful for VATSIM users aswell, as on VATSIM, everyone can pick a ceased airline too if they want to still fly with it.

But what about MSFS compatibility? Is it safe to install pre-MSFS AIG flightplans?
