I will try and tell you more as soon as I can.  The damage was minimal from sim update 3 so that's good news, few small things getting addressed currently.  I'm hopeful (but I did say that yesterday and the day before).

Actually looking forward to this release, good luck 🙂

One of the reasons I'm buying this later today/tomorrow is that JustFlight are so clearly engaged with their users. Plus it looks like the GA I've been waiting for...something that puts the fear back into procedures the way the XP Hotstart TBM used to 🙂 (Loved the way it would catch fire so easily if not started up correctly).

I'm not used to any of the JF range of products... how will this likely compare to A2A's C172 level of detail?

Many thanks,

Mike

The P3D arrow Is about a step below the A2A stuff as far as systems/flying/persistence (accusim) stuff. This MSFS version appears to be similar with a much higher graphical fidelity.

Well, that depends, if you are asking this in general. Afaik their products aren't all created by the same developers and not every developer is created equal. I only own two JF planes, the Duchess and the Arrow III/IV Turbo, and both are for Aerofly FS 2. Now obviously AFS2 sucks when it comes to what you can do in it but I do know that imho the Arrow was one of the better AFS2 add ons available, if not the best (GA), while the Duchess sucked. But... 1. this is about the Arrow III and 2. this is about MSFS. After looking into it I think you can say that this Arrow will be the closest you can get to A2A-quality for quite some time. I don't see A2A releasing anything soon for MSFS. In this Arrow everything works, everything is non-standard (weird AP, odd radio's, etc.), you can switch between 3 radio stacks, it has a (very) basic maintenance mode (oil, battery) and (one of the features that made me go YES) it can remember your STATE! Love that! I might get this one for that alone! Obviously it also has a nice wear and tear look to it (but you can also install a clean looking cockpit!). Anyway, since there is no A2A for MSFS yet I think this might be a good one to get to keep you busy.

I destroyed so many millions of dollars worth of TBM engines in X-Plane lol, it sure was a handful.

Hello Team.  Quick question and just to clarify.........The JF Arrow is not the same as the Carenado Arrow that just got released or is it the same aircraft addon?  Thanks

  Oh! No! Dennis! I don't know whether to run for cover or fetch the popcorn on that one! That should give you your answer, but if that isn't a clue, they are a world apart.

I will try to avoid Scott's embarrassment by having to explain about the JF one... Basically, Carenado, nice looking model but a fairly generic flight mode.  Just Flight, good looking but a lot more high fidelity / accuracy relative to the real world aircraft.

Plenty of YouTube videos on both.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

LOL - I know.  I stay away from the Carenado stuff myself.  Just wanted to make sure.  Thanks!!!

Is it still being released today? :)

I think we may need to create a petition at change.org and begin getting signatures to get Just Flight to release it. Im starting to believe that they did the plane for themselves and the guys with youtube channels only 😆
