February 18, 20215 yr Yep, have to agree that sometimes it looks like I’m flying directly into Mordor. cloud textures look much better though, the test now is will they look worse after the next update as we’ve been there before. Edited February 18, 20215 yr by Carts85

February 18, 20215 yr Clear difference for me about MSFS Clouds but I would like to see lower cloud layers which would give a much more realistic elevation effect.I expect a lot from this side and on the rendering of the lighting overall. That makes the huge difference.Colors and brightness are not realistic in all situations but I'm still completely in love with MSFS.

February 18, 20215 yr They’re way better in Vr. They ain’t pixelated any more, and you used to be able to see that much more closely in VR.
February 18, 20215 yr I'm in the OMG they are so much better now crowd. Not sure what they did...just looks much more smoother and realistic. Here I am currently enroute from Atlanta to Orlando, Live Weather....the breakout on top was stunning. The depth depiction is fantastic....look at the holes in the bottom half of the pic.....intermittently I see the ground as I'm gradually flying out of this huge weather system that slammed my home town of Dallas...and its currently close to Atlanta as it tracks north-eastward across the US. Here is what landing at KDFW looked like when I flew back from California on Monday....this could have been Minneapolis or Detroit! Insane weather for Texas! EDIT: Same flight....in Florida....huge storm front behind me.....very realistic IMO Edited February 18, 20215 yr by Steve Dra Regards, Steve DraGet my paints for MSFS planes at flightsim.to here, and iFly 737s hereDownload my FSX, P3D paints at Avsim by clicking here
February 18, 20215 yr The sky is way too orange in some of those shots. Looks a bit unrealistic. I hope they can tone or readjust the orange levels. It looks like you're flying into "HELL" literally. Dawn/Dusk sky colors needs a proper calibration. I never seen the sky that orange before. I know there are different variables that comes into play such as time of day, location, air, season, etc. but it can use some tweaking.
