Am I a bad boy, I am still at 456.71 ? OTH I almost  don't have stutters 🤣

If you are happy with the performance, don't touch it... anyway new drivers usually contain improvements for the latest generation of cards.

Do you know how long the 3000 series especially the 3080 will be out of stock? And why has it been so long since they've all been out ?

I still use 457.30, the last one optimized for 20 series I think, works good enough for me.

P3D will not run at all. You will crash at the scenario selection. XP11 crashed while trying to load the world.

Which, if true, means that Nvidia will end up releasing another version in a day or so.... so don't bother with this one then.

Interestingly that and 457.51 are the last versions of Nvidia drivers that don't cause CTDs on my OC'd 3090.  They changed something after Dec. that means MSFS does NOT like an OC'd 3090. I can run my 3090 stock on recent drivers, no problem, but any OC makes it CTD regularly (often before getting into the plane).

What might get me to update is resizable BAR support... which just launched with this driver. But I need to wait for Asus to offer a Vbios update and Nvidia to add MSFS to the list of supported games.

Works pretty well with HAGS and game mode on in VR using a 3090.

Better than 457.30?

AMD 7950x3d, MSI 4090 Supreme Liquid, 64GB@6000 CL30, MSI X670E ACE, 4TB Crucial T700 nvme, MSI AIO, Asus 43" HDR1000, Quest Pro, VKB gunfighter, Bravo throttle, TPR, IBM Model M keyboard, Shure SM58

Hmmm. Updated driver, MOBO Asus Bios, and 3090 vbios, and Resizable Bar stills says "NO" under Nvidia Settings Sys Info. Anyone else?

I can also confirm P3D crashes after the splash screen. Awesome.

Edit: It is now showing "Yes". For those with Asus 30XX cards, Asus just released a new vbios V3 with resize support as of 3/30.

Nvidia shows this in the release Notes:
Windows 10 Issues:
[VR]: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 VR may stutter if Hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling is disabled. [3246674]

Curious why MSFS doesn't support resizable BAR... it would seem like an obvious candidate given the massive data being moved around as you fly.

EDIT: According to this article, MSFS performed worse with resizable BAR... LOL.  Why am I not surprised?
