Wow, that‘s weird indeed. Why make an airport when the surrounding area looks that rubbish? Or the other way round, as you say, why not get imagery for the area? I was really looking forward to that airport but like that there‘s no point in flying there. Rather disappointing I have to say.

Look, I installed everything, and all of the world update content is there. I appreciate you trying to help, but I know how this works.

If you want to check, just load into the handcrafted airport at Svalbard and go south-east. It just looks like that, and it's not a problem with my install or my settings.

I believe you but you would be amazed how many forgot to install the world update from the marketplace.  I just wanted to make sure that was the case. You can report issue to Asobo using the Zendesk about this area.

It's just that I'm having exactly the same discussion over on the official forums right now, and there's also people who can't believe it looks that bad asking about my install or graphics settings or server load issues.

So the sim is still nearly 100% unusable for me.

The only airport I was able to load up at in ENDU Bardufoss, the scenery looks horrible just like it did before this Nordics update. Zero improvement in that area.

try with all traffic off, its not a common issue at all.

the VFR map can't even go as far north as Svalbard

All weather is off.
All multiplayer is off.

It's not a common issue, but it's widespread enough that I've read similar accounts from others in these forums with the same problem.
There's also a "Crash To Desktop without Error message" on the list of things Asobo is working on. 

And it all started with the previous update.

Exactly the same issue here on Svalbard. Clear boundary between hi and low res ground textures. And yes, store and in-game updates done.

How do I find the world updates I have installed? Im searching in the content manager for "world" or "nordic", but my search comes up empty. I have 237 items in my installed list. 

EDIT: The search doesnt come up empty, but only lists nordic procedural buildings and points of interest. 

if you look at the wrldmap you will find a lot of new pois in the nordic, 5 bishflights, one challenhe and maybe i forgot something.
