So what makes this plane so desirable?

It’s a head scratcher to me…one of the ugliest planes made IMO.

Maybe true....but for MSFS - reasonably quick and high wing....that's perfect!

It’s not the prettiest…we have them flying in and out all the time at my local airport, they use them to do fire spotting, kinda cool!

1.  it's different
2.  it's a great sightseeing aircraft - good visibility, high wing
3.  unlike most other good sightseeing aircraft it's also fast.

Great way to travel VFR long distances taking in the view in a plane with real character.

That’s what i love about this place. I can go from no way to i can’t wait in a few hours. You guys love to spend my money.

Loved this in FSX and XPlane. I swore off of buying more high-wing GA but looks like I’m gonna be breaking my own rules again.

Each to their own but this is one of my all-time favorite planes, especially the military model.

Mainly that it is a bit quirky and looks different. Also people are familiar with them from fire fighting and Maritime search and rescue roles.

Basically the same reason you see a lot of people fly the T-Tail Turbo Arrow IV even though in reality the Turbo Arrow III is the better plane.  In a game looks matter over practicality.

It is highly likely to be a C337H as that is what they did for P3D, so retractable gear and a cruise up around 160 knots (similar to the Turbo Arrow)  for normally aspirated or cruise of 200 knots for the T337H Turbo Charged version if they decide to model that one.

Besides all the various things mentioned how cool this plane is.

Lets not forget, this thing sounds MONSTEROUS. Like it's literally beating the air into submission
