Basically the same reason you see a lot of people fly the T-Tail Turbo Arrow IV even though in reality the Turbo Arrow III is the better plane. In a game looks matter over practicality. It is highly likely to be a C337H as that is what they did for P3D, so retractable gear and a cruise up around 160 knots (similar to the Turbo Arrow) for normally aspirated or cruise of 200 knots for the T337H Turbo Charged version if they decide to model that one.
