September 30, 20214 yr Author Nope...pretty surprised myself! Walked in and picked up a token...they had the whole range lined up behind the cash. Now I do live in the frozen tundra of Victoria, so not really representative of any real population center... Edited September 30, 20214 yr by DylanM

September 30, 20214 yr seems like stock levels are improving 😀 I'm going to hold off on a new rig until we see the first study level airliners for MSFS, then invest in something to do them justice! 🤗

That's on my list for a new rig. Honestly though my current rig handles the sim pretty well. My GTX1080 Ti still holds it's own. My GTX1080 Ti still holds it's own. The EVGA 1080Ti I bought ages ago was probably my best investment into flight simulation ever. Works with all present sims. It only shows its limitation using VR. I am only going to replace it after prices are back to normal, should I live up to that. September 30, 20214 yr Not sure if they update their site but doesn’t look like any left (of course just looking at their site).. Its odd and I may be missing something, but looking on newegg etc. it appears that you can get a complete system pre-built for not much more than a GPU sold alone. September 30, 20214 yr Depending on your monitor's resolution and refresh rate, I've found that my 3060 Ti Founder's Edition handles MSFS with ease now ever since they improved the graphical performance. For reference, I use a 3440 x 1440 ultrawide monitor with 100hz refresh rate (not that MSFS utilizes that anyway). If you're looking for the best bang for your buck, the 3060 Ti at $400 US is difficult to beat.
September 30, 20214 yr My 980ti still does fine at 2k with everything set to high (precache set to ultra). James

It had been / is selling for $1K more @ retail which was also par for the course in this bonkers market. 3 hours ago, ryanbatcund said: That's a sweet card. That's on my list for a new rig. Had been keeping an eye out on this for a while and even though It's quite a chunk of change, decided to snag it. But agreed, the Ti have always been such great cards. 1 hour ago, flyinpilot212121 said: Not sure if they update their site but doesn’t look like any left (of course just looking at their site).. BestBuy hasn't been listing stock of cards but instead does these random "drops" - looks like yesterday was the day for Canada and tomorrow for the US: How to purchase a NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics Card In-Store from Best Buy Canada | Best Buy Blog NVIDIA GeForce RTX Graphics Cards - Best Buy And you're right, the prebuilt option was the way to go for the longest time as the OEMs and SIs were the only ones able to keep to those prices. Edit: BestBuy also may get the Founders Edition cards from Nvidia, which would be a really good deal: Nvidia RTX 3000 BEST BUY GPU DROP, People are CAMPING ALREADY! - YouTube Edited September 30, 20214 yr by DylanM
