October 10, 20214 yr Tested and it works. Nice graphics improvement for me (1440p). Credit to the original poster (KSIElevenBravo on the official forum): https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/one-setting-that-worked-magic-for-me/460799/1 This is how to do it with nVidia: 7800X3D | 2x32 GB DDR5-6000 CL32 | RTX 5080 | Alienware OLED 34" | 1 Gbps fiber
October 10, 20214 yr A few posters on the os have tried it and said that it helped. Not sure how I missed this tip as I regularly read the official forum, but it costs nothing to give it a go. I will see how it looks next time I fire up the sim. October 10, 20214 yr Yep. Turned it off from fairly early on last year, as some were reporting a very slight performance hit with it on anyway. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. October 10, 20214 yr I see an improvement still some shimmering but I'll take any improvement I can get. I tested it out on Orbx Dubai which was almost untolerable before now it is less untolerable.

October 10, 20214 yr SO I changed mine and on approach to KORF in the CJ4 I got a CTD. I have never had CTD in MSFS so I don't know what to think and I'd like to think they're unrelated. October 11, 20214 yr Any setting that has the word Correction in it should be questionable. Cheers bs AMD RYZEN 9 5900X 12 CORE CPU - ZOTAC RTX 3060Ti GPU - NZXT H510i ELITE CASE - EVO M.2 970 500GB DRIVE - 32GB XTREEM 4000 MEM - XPG GOLD 80+ 650 WATT PS - NZXT 280 HYBRID COOLER
October 11, 20214 yr I know I'm crazy, but re-applying, and then firing up MSFS again, colors were a wee bit stronger and I had no pauses. (I have recently migrated to win 11) other than that I have no explanation.
