November 20, 20214 yr This is the one 'killer' bug...that makes me if anything, will leave off MSFS until Asobo comes out with an urgent HotFix. This constant, bug-auto changing of my settings, mostly in the Assist Option Screen. You adjust anything, and you'd better check out what has just been bug/auto changed to all your personal in-sim settings. This was released to the wild from Asobo? The Game Of The Year. ROTFLMAO! Really?!??! LOL! Seems we were on the right path with SU6, all steps forwards...but now, well for me at least, way more many steps back again. No choice but to wait for 'the' SU7 Hotfix....no choice. The SU6 lamenter... Edited November 21, 20214 yr by Sesquashtoo
November 20, 20214 yr I have found that changing the graphics options also changes the assistance settings...once you have the graphics ones set, try not to change. Someone on the UX/UI team really needs to be sacked.

November 21, 20214 yr I agree, this is a royal PIA. Every time you start the sim you have turn off all the kiddie "POOP". November 21, 20214 yr How strange. I'm not seeing this behavior at all. Except right after the update. Changed the assist settings then, and have not had to change them since. And yes, I have made changes to the graphics settings, and I have made changes in the content manager. I'm on Steam. Maybe that makes a difference? Is anyone on Steam seeing this issue? Heck, just for gits and shiggles, this morning I deleted flightsimulator.cfg and usercfg.opt and let the sim rebuild them. Went into settings and reset all the graphics settings to they way I like them. No other settings were changed. Hope you guys get it figured out... ...jim ASUS Prime Z790-E, Intel i9 13900K, 32Gb DDR5 Ram, Nvidia 3090 24Gb, Samsung 970 EVO Plus 500 GB and 1 TB, Samsung Odyssey G9 Ultrawide 49" G-SYNC Monitor.

November 21, 20214 yr I'm suffering this problem too. My Assist Options keep resetting themselves. I've noticed that whenever I take one of the Discovery Flights, this always happens. Also, if you make certain changes to your graphics options -- like changing Trees from High to Medium, etc. -- it happens as well. This is extremely annoying. May I suggest that those who haven't experienced this problem yet should take a Discovery Flight and then change their graphics options a little. See if you suffer the same issue. November 21, 20214 yr I just checked my Assistance settings, as a few minutes ago I changed most of my graphics settings (to what I hope is the final setup for awhile) and I didn't see any change to my Assistance settings at all. November 21, 20214 yr I've changed my graphics settings and haven't got the assistance reset. However I updated something in the content manager and that did it.
