t seems to offer more than Bijans tree product - tree colour is dynamically changed each week in Autumn/Winter and monthly in spring/summer.  I think I'll give this one a go.

Actually yes, guess I need to look into it more before commenting! If it does indeed do everything dynamically that's good. Wonder if it can be used with Bijan's terrain masks...

Great comment scotchegg, thanks for that. The REX team are currently prototyping similar terrain coloring and are looking forward to implementing this in the future.

This is actually promising (especially the set and forget feature based on date) I certainly wouldnt be messing with presets and see the value with it just doing its thing without further intervention. I'm interested! Will look up a few reviews and see if it survives an asobo sucker punch (service update) unharmed before buying.

Any performance hit?  How's the blending?  Any sharp transitions, etc.?

Thanks for the questions Jeff. There should not be a performance hit. In terms of blending, the coloring of vegetation has been crafted in a way where colors complement each other based on the RGB values, resulting in colors that complement well. This also results in nice blending in places where there are EcoRegion transitions so transitions have a visual harmony to them. By the way, EcoRegions are areas on the global map that MS/Asobo use to designate vegetation. Hope that answers you questions.

I'm in. Considering REX's history of providing great looking environment products for flightsim it's worth it.

Looks nice indeed but i will stay with Bijan until Asobo comes up with smtg. Implemented.
After the past no more support from my side for Rex, sorry guys.

Here I have been using Bijang seasons but this looks very appealing.

The change in seasons over a week looks very nice.

It would be great if they could also add a kind of terrain coloring to match the seasons, so not summer terrain with fall trees….

Thanks for the comments Gerard. In terms of terrain coloring, this is something we are prototyping and looking forward to deploying in the future.

Well, I bought it, but I can't even download it! I got it from their store, and now it won't let me log into their ridiculous Rex Axis thing or whatever. When I try to use the tool with my serial and order number, it says it can't validate it. Absolutely ridiculous! This is way too complicated.

Same here...

Why does have to be so complicated @MikeT707 ?

Can you please help us out?
