I can't confirm this for you as I'm unable to purchase the product at this exact time but I will offer some incite. Since the beginning, REX has done a great job of releasing products that compliment each other and build upon their product umbrella. I would find it hard to believe that they would make their seasons incompatible with their weather. 

I'm sorry that others have to be so crass but I would just wait to hear from the REX team for full compatibility notes.

No it's not. Just asked them, like I did, what exactly does mean "dynamic" or "Automation". REX is good at marketing.

Unfortunately I have made my experience with their products.

I have asked several questions on page 4 of this thread....and am patient waiting for an answer.

I don't think anyone is flying long enough for the season to change. I guess it checks the time and date for your departure airport and adjusts the textures based on that, If you later load a flight with anther date it will again adjust the textures. For the Bijan pack you would need to manually change the folder you want to load.

 

It seems like it does change the textures if you fly to the other hemisphere. (just like Bijan)

Maybe they've made the mistake of assuming everyone is running the sim with default LOD values? Or something like that. Holding off for now.

I guess it selects the date/time of your Windows system to set the season into MSFS. If you change it in the sim it won't match anymore.

Sorry, my point with that picture was that there aren't supposed to be "winter/autumn" trees is a tropical area such as Florida. Those trees in the distance stayed and looked the same as they're depicted when i flew over them some time later.

When the PC starts the community folder is updated with no input from you. Set it and forget it.

If I am not completely wrong, the "not affected area" is also present in Bijans variant, as trees beyond this threshold are some kind of generic stuff being loaded irrespective of the chosen season models closer to the observer. At least I thought I read something like this in one of Bijans threads or over at his discord channel. 

Anyway, the dark spot below the plane that is moving with it is a 100% showstopper for me and I am pretty happy that somebody mentioned it here BEFORE I was out to buy this addon...

I have been using Bijans trees, and flying all over the world from the Northwest Territories of Canada to the Tropics, and I love the way everything looks, so I am sticking with Bijan.
