December 31, 20214 yr Is anybody at all using the Replay function? I never hear it discussed anymore. I tried it once, but it was so cumbersome that I never went back. December 31, 20214 yr The reason that you have developer mode to access it made never try it seriously. Before I go and change options the fs menu, I open up FSRecorder. That's way more convinient to me.

I tried it once, but it was so cumbersome that I never went back. The reason not many people are using it is because it is buried in the Developer's mode version, which most users are not using. Asobo needs to release it as a normal feature. Sincerely, Dennis D. Müllert System Specs: MoBo: MSI MAG X870 Tomahawk WiFi ATX AM5. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D. December 31, 20214 yr I always still use the one on GitHub. If it ain't broke don't fix (or change) it. http://youtube.com/c/Greazer
December 31, 20214 yr Yeah I am using it always and it’s very good for a beta AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display
December 31, 20214 yr I rather like to see an option like we had on FSX/P3D: just to look at the last minutes to evaluate a landing.
December 31, 20214 yr I use the freeware one from Flightsim to. It’s a lot less cumbersome and a lot more versatile than Asobo’s half-ars#d creation.
December 31, 20214 yr Being in developer mode means that your flights are not logged. That and the fact that it is so clunky puts me off completely. How hard would it be to provide a replay function like we had in FSX? Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
December 31, 20214 yr FSX proper replay and Flyby is surely missing in MSFS. I don't really care about POV's and trees to the horizon one bit that they promote. That gets old too quick. I want more views of my aircraft. Edited December 31, 20214 yr by jbdbow1970
December 31, 20214 yr To answer the OP’s question directly, the answer is no. In fact I have forgotten about it until seeing this thread. I9-13900kf - rtx4090 32gb ddr5 4800mhz, 2TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD internet - 300+ mbs / Honycomb Alpha yoke / Saitek Throttle Dell 43” 4K
December 31, 20214 yr How is it MSFS missed a number of basic things their past simulator had? An easy replay included but also... AI aircraft that flare; ATC heading changes; nine different ATC voices; winds that match ATIS and socks... and others. No, not using the clunky replay.
December 31, 20214 yr I use it regularly to play back my landings but that‘s about it. I don‘t feel like doing anything beyond that; it‘s just too cumbersome and not much fun at the moment. i9-11900K, RTX 4090, 32 GB ram, Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo, TCA Airbus sidestick and quadrant, Reverb G2
December 31, 20214 yr I use it now instead of FSplayground. It works flawlessly for me. I don't care if my flights are logged, it is not like you need a logbook with currency anyway to stay legal in the sim😄. I am sure sometime in the future it will be part of the regular GUI and work very well. I always loved the way X-plane playback and save flights worked especially if combind with X-cam that had shortcuts for all the different views so nicely configurable. FS2020 is extremely impressive to me especially how much it has advance in just 18 months or so. I stopped using X-plane almost immediately after FS2020 came out and wiped it off my computer about 6 months later. No looking back unless XP 12 can match the realism of FS2020. This of course is just my humble opinion. Sim on any way you like...
