Leonardo Maddog to be released 30 April!

Its the AT servos sound the thing that drives me crazy. And they didnt include a way to adjust them in the Load Manager (the p3d version has it).

First impressions: Love the plane, hate the sounds in every aspect (bland exterior sounds, annoying servo sounds)

Maybe a daft question; I seem to have very slow pushback's; are there any chocks are something that I have to remove?  I use the default MSFS pushback and it is SLOW with brakes off etc

As for the servos, as a last resort you could delete / move the according sound file.

Chaps, I just had my second dual engine failure. On the ground this time.

Confirming that on both occasions, pressing the "escape" key has led to immediate dual-engine shutdown.

I have heard of this bug in MSFS, but i've never experienced it myself before.

Would be interested in seeing how widespread it is, and how Leonardo plans to fix it. Not brilliant to lose your engines based on a single keystroke!

I had the same issue, man. If you have a "mixture" axis assigned, make sure that it's in the RICH position. I guess the controls flash/reset when you press escape, so if the mixture axis is in idle/cutoff, it'll kill your engines.

Anybody have issues with flight controls being very heavy and needing lots of input from controller? I have the VF Yoko + and although the yoke in the MD82 is responding very well to my inputs, the aircraft is not.

Fly the Maddog X has internal calibration for the flight controls, please see the Advanced Options in the User Manual’s simulator option page if you wish to change any of the settings.

I do feel do like an airliner like the Maddog X can not be move like a C172. I like the heaviness

Anyone have trouble importing simbrief flight plane to FMC? I got simbrief flight plan and W&B show up in EFB, but when I type coroute for example KSANKSFO it can't find it (although both file ACARS and mdr exists in folder)

I don't do Xplane but from what I've seen, the Rotate, while not bad, is easy mode compared to the Leonardo. If things are shutting down on takeoff my first suspicion is that you overtemped your engines and set them on fire. I did that a lot when I first got the Maddog in P3d.

In those old jets without any form of FADEC, you have to almost maniacally monitor engine parameters to make sure you don't exceed anything. It's a significant workload that takes a lot of getting used to, but the short version is, if your throttles are pushed all the way forward you're going to have a bad time. 😉
