I don't like PG in the areas I fly so prefer to turn it off.  I run a lod of 300 and get smooth performance everywhere except in large cities like Los Angeles.  You run at 4K but I would have thought you could run at a LOD of at least 200, but I have never run at 4K.

Just becomes main thread lmited and introduces stuttering. I will try with PG off. 

I can't believe this! I just checked content manager again and now there are 17 updates. I should have waited before I backed up. Dam!

That’s wrong. The clouds have reduced banding, so I can’t agree with your statement that they don’t look any different.

Eventually Azure shut down too, leaving me with those pre-pubertal voices. Not good. 

Final approach rwy 05 to EDDH I got FPS around 27 (locked at 30). Got terrain LOD at 300. After exiting the runway FPS around 24.

While my system is not the strongest, I should stress that in my case the issue was clearly introduced with SU IX beta. I had pretty good performance at KSFO (fps > 25 and no stutters) on ground in SU VIII.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoped they got that one fixed

Clouds look the same with live weather. Not even close to pre SU5.

Iv've had 3 CTD's now, and its a stutter mainthread fest at 4k.

Tried it, LOD at 200 and no PG. Basically mainthread limited with lots of frametime spikes, at 4k using 3090......Plus 3 CTD's to throw in the mix. 

 

Not to mention lots of popping in of objects on the ground. So frustrating this sim sometimes, this is why I normally leave it unused for months on end.

Yep. A familiar friend from the P3D days and great to have it back. Just tried a quick flight around Denver and it all looks great. Clouds look nice too.

ATC sounds more robotic. IMO, the dev team took a step back in that area. I wonder if the expedite tweaks still work?
