April 26, 20224 yr Frames locked at 30 ( Nvidia control panel, left Vsync of in game)drops to 29 here or there, Vsync ON in Nvidia CP.. but tons of micro stutters now, SU8 was butter smooth...I have already deleted content.xml, rebuilt rolling cache and now emptying my community folder and putting things back in little by little since I did get a crash leaving KSAN. The way its performing is not ok...especially when there was some optimization with this update. April 26, 20224 yr Since I never found any actual instructions, I went to the Xbox Insider hub and exited the beta. It updated about 32gb of files without launching the sim. I rebooted my system and when the (regular) Xbox app started (I let it auto start as it seems to find updates the best when I reboot) and it offered an update there. When I clicked that, it started MSFS and I got the update notice. It wanted to install the entire sim, and was pointed at the LocalCache\Packages folder on my C:\ drive. I changed it to E:\MSFS\MSFS where it belongs, and then it only wanted to install ~32GB. I did that and all was well. After I did this, I now understand how I messed it up twice in the past. When it gets to the point in the installation where you can see and change the install directory, you have to click on the actual text box to change the target folder. Next to the text box with the target folder is an "Update" button. I'm pretty sure that I accidentally clicked the button, thinking it would open the folder picker and allow me to update the path before installing. Instead, it just goes ahead and installs a 2nd copy in that older. April 26, 20224 yr So far so good in the FBW A32NX, latest experimental build. Flight from LKPR to EDDH, both payware addons. No problems so far with either the A32NX or any of my regular addons: FS2Crew, REX AccuSeason, Toolbar pushback, NoToolbarHandle, Global AI ship traffic V2. BUT - the ATC voices disappeared soon after departure. Can only hear the pilot voice. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Especially if you are having mainthread issues. It seems to only work okay when you are clearly GPU bound. Even then in game is better I believe. You keep describing issues at US based airports near photogrammetry cities. There is a known issues with the world updates that destroys US city performance in these scenarios. The image I posted is the fix. It’s been described over at the MS forums. I would try that if you haven’t already.

Kind regards, Michael 100 terrain LOD with his system seems incredibly low! I run at 2K and have turned off PG so I can be smooth at a terrain LOD of 300.
