May 12, 20224 yr You guys with most any of the series 3000 cards definitely have the issue. Because you were not GPU limited before these last updates. But, folks here are in the ‘it’s fine for me’ crew or don’t say a bad word against Asobo etc… Sorry to annoy you for making a positive report, but I have to say that update 1.25.9.0 completely cured the major performance problem that I've had since SU9 (3-4 FPS near the ground in some areas), and I now have smooth flying everywhere, at any altitude, with FPS between 40 and 55 in most places and using ultra settings. In my view, positive reports are important information even if they turn off some folks. I say this as someone who has not hesitated to report problems I have encountered with MSFS (including the one just mentioned). If simply telling it like it is puts me in the "it's fine for me" crew, I guess I can live with that. May 13, 20224 yr Not sure if this is representative of my system's handling of MSFS at this point or of the development process. But with my CPU and GPU one is not performing consistent with the other, and the conveyor belt is out of control..... A humourous watch... Now I have ample headroom on both CPU and GPU in most situations. iniScene’s EGLL is a very significant exception, where fps decrease progressively the closer I get to the airport. My thought is that either that particular airport is 1. too large and complex 2. poorly optimized or 3. both. Performance on other London airports like EGLC, EGKK is decent. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

After deinstalling the PG Citites my sim is smoother than ever using the FBW 320 and loads of AIG traffic. Yeah EGLL Heathrow by iniScene is unplayable for me unless I dumb down the settings from Ultra to low end. It's the only add on of many that is like that. Too large and complex, we will probably never see a playable deluxe EGLL until MSFS becomes better optimized or hardware advances. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 15, 20224 yr Hmmm just had my first instance of ATC going silent since installing the update. Flying in the NGX about 60nm west of Chicago heading to midway. Will send in a bug report. May 27, 20224 yr Hello, from Blind MSFS pilot Ron Kolesar. I have build 1.25.9.0. Is that the latest version, or is there a later version for top gunners? Also, when I load FS 2020 build 1.25.9.0, the following happens. The music kicks in, but it's like the flight sim doesn't load. Also, to close down the program, I used to be able to tap my escape key and or to simply use the alt f4 and or control f4 combos to close out fs. But now I need to restart the pc to regain access to my computer. Is there a fix for this? Here's hoping that the MSFS team can see this letter and to find a fix for the problems that I outlined here in this letter. Very Thankfully Yours, Ron Kolesar
May 27, 20224 yr @Blind Pilot Ron, I have the latest 1.25.90 build and Alt F4 still works for me. I don't have the latest Top Gun DLC installed, though, if that could be the issue.
May 28, 20224 yr I appreciate the shout back. I wrote the letter hoping that Jorg and the MSFS 2020 team would see the letter and fix the issues. I say that, because Jorg, isn't acknowledging my letters to his private address. Are you in the states or in the country of Canada? If so, we could link up via team viewer. Because the music kicks in, but the program doesn't load. Before Microsoft had a partial synthesizer inside the flight sim. But, I'm not hearing that now. I'm only hearing the start up default music file kick ins. I can be reached at: [email protected] Write me privately if you can help out and I'll then give to you my phone number and we can work out a time to link up. Ron who's a frustrated flight sim pilot.

Although early on, before the sim was released, the MSFS team used to frequent the AVSIM forums, I don' think they do much anymore. If they did, I think they'd probably would've changed a few things. Your best bet is to add a message to their Zendesk and get support from there.
