June 5, 20224 yr So, it looked like there were small clues that iniBuilds was focusing more and more on MSFS. If you go to their forums and website, all iniBuilds has been doing was announcing one new MSFS product, after another new MSFS product, for the last several months. But today, I think there is even more indication that iniBuilds is focusing more on MSFS, possibly going all in on MSFS. The first clue was iniBuilds saying today about their EGLL (Heathrow) airport scenery: Quote An update on P3D/XP - unfortunately this product will not be coming to these platforms at this time. If anything changes, we will let you know! Alright. I get that. Maybe MSFS makes them more money so they don't think it's worthwhile to release EGLL for P3D and XP. But then, a poster asked iniBuilds if they would reconsider bringing EGLL to XP, and and iniBuilds responded with this statement: Quote We would love to, but a lack of XP resources at the moment means for now, sadly this one is not on the table! Maybe something we can reconsider though! This statement above tells me that iniBuilds has possibly shifted all their resources to MSFS. Anyways, this is all speculation. Maybe iniBuilds will announce a new product for P3D or XP soon, in which case, all this is moot. In addition, I do expect iniBuilds to port their XP 11 products over to XP 12, if it's very easy to port over. But aside from possibly porting their products from XP 11 to XP 12, it increasingly looks like iniBuilds is going all in on MSFS. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
June 5, 20224 yr I've been wondering the same thing. Maybe not all MSFS. But maybe big majority msfs. I think the A310 is going to be a big seller when it comes to msfs. going to be interesting to watch. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
June 5, 20224 yr Well as long as I have my Challenger 650 in X-Plane I am happy. Hotstart has no desire to go to MSFS thank goodness. The INI Builds 300 was really overrated (quite a bit of threads to pull) in my opinion but maybe it will be better in MSFS. Edited June 5, 20224 yr by sgreen91 Sean Green
June 5, 20224 yr Inibuilds had their last A310 MSFS update in OCT21 and maintained radio silence since then. In this forum post Ubaid said Work on systems implementation, fonts, textures, sounds and flight modelling are in full steam and we hope to provide updates on each area in the coming months!

In this forum post Ubaid said Work on systems implementation, fonts, textures, sounds and flight modelling are in full steam and we hope to provide updates on each area in the coming months! iniBuilds has been providing some very small hints and small tidbits on their Discord channel about their A310 for MSFS. You should search @lwt1971's posts, as @lwt1971 has posted some of the comments made by iniBuilds in their Discord channel on their A310 in the last two months. So yes, iniBuilds hasn't had a major update and announcements about their A310 for MSFS for some time, but they have been providing some small hints and tidbits about it in their Discord channel recently. If I am not mistaken, very few airlines are still flying that aircraft. I wonder how much interest it will bring.

A lot of people have no problem flying either totally fictional, retired types, or types used for cargo only now. Part of the draw also is a totally new type for people who in the past did not use Xplane. Many of us were p3d guys. Seems like the A 330 might be more successful, but we will see.

It seems to be very popular in XP. So based on its popularity in XP, I suspect it will also sell well in MSFS. The other thing is, there is no wide body airliner in MSFS yet. Assuming iniBuilds can beat the PMDG 777 to market in MSFS, with the iniBuilds A310, I think it will sell rather well in MSFS. Edit: I mean wide body, study level, airliner. Captain Sim is hardly "study level" 🤣 Edited June 5, 20224 yr by abrams_tank i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM

June 5, 20224 yr I fly both the A300/310 frequently in XP11. The A310 model inibuilds simulates, is the A310-300, the long range version. This is a mid80's airliner, with a nice blend of analog/digital, but in the sense that more focus is on the digital aspect, than for example the MD-88. The FMS/CDU interface is more akin to a Fokker 100 or an MD11, than an A320 though. I have no reasons to believe this product will sell poorly. It's a fantastic airliner in XP11! 🙂 EASA PPL SEPL + NQ / CB-IR in progress MSFS24 | X-Plane 12
