For $30 I expect a complete and perfect rendition of a Caravan.

I suggest appending an "/s" to your post to signify sarcasm.

I'm guessing your experience of flight sims has been a continual disappointment.

The waters have been tested. I'm glad you got some likes on my behalf. 😀

Whew I got worried for just a second!

At any rate, I'm excited for the King Air - since the Asobo cockpit is a major blunder, this should really do it some more justice.  I don't really care about opening doors and all that.  I hope he can address some of the flight model and sounds.

I don't think this is going to happen.

You thought I pulled a Manny.

Hey, it can happen. I am getting older. 😀

The product pages for both the Caravan and King Air mention a "slightly improved flight model":
https://www.justflight.com/product/steam-gauge-overhaul-analog-caravan
https://www.justflight.com/product/steam-gauge-overhaul-analog-king-air

King Air page also mentions "improved turbine dynamics" which would be very welcome.

Now for a different question.. the gauges are supposedly accurately modeled after the real units, but the KI 256 Attitude Indicator appears to have a blue/brown background at the edges, unlike any I have ever seen.. Is this artistic license, or does this version exist in the real world?  Any pictures I can find have a black background right and left.

Well yes, there is an 'eye' icon for all items on the checklist. But I only count 184 items. 😞

I appreciate the 'starter does not disengage' checklist page. But where's the 'windscreen wiper does not swing' page??? 😞

I was looking forward to the Steam gauge PC-6 but have finally accepted its vaporware

for 30 bucks, I would expect them to also make the doors/windows open and add wheel chocks, static wicks, tie-downs etc.. to make it like a regular payware aircraft..

on a similar note, why do the kodiak and twin otter not have some static elements like tie-downs, engine plugs etc? Chancellor has them all and it gives a nice user experience wen you do a preflight walkaround..

Working doors can definitely be done on the default models.    JPL has them on his excellent steam gauge 152 mod.

Mugz has them on the TBM-930 mod.

Personally I like to be able to open a side window.   One of the reasons I use the Aviat Husky float plane.

The Steam Gauge Caravan has working storm windows according to the technical video but no word on whether opening them in flight causes the plane to blow up Carenado style

I'm hanging on for the steam gauge Darkstar.
