Jorg did briliant move with that. Now we just need more transparency and focus from Asobo on core Platform and leave content to contracted studios, and dont forget that MSFS addon industry is big industry. Yes, the professionals are Working Title. And they are contracted to build advance avionics by Microsoft. As an MSFS users, I am glad that I can get more and more advanced avionics for free. And there is no way Working Title could get the G1000 NXi to the state it is in now, without making this a full time job. So I am also thankful to Microsoft for hiring Working Title full time, so that they can get the avionics to an advanced level, in a much shorter time period. And one more thing, I don't want to pay for advanced avionics. I want it free. So once again, I am glad that Microsoft is paying Working Title so that I can get advanced avionics like the G1000 NXi, and the upcoming G3000, G5000, GNS530, and GNS430 for free. Getting contracted by MS allowed them to walk away from the full-time careers they had so they could focus all of their time and energy on MSFS. You think we would have gotten the G1000 NXi in the same amount of time otherwise? I get the impression that you are going out of your way to snipe Asobo and it is really weird to me. Absolutely agree with @Krakin, People think that if Working Title did this as a hobby (which they were doing at the beginning of MSFS), that they could get as far as they did with the G1000 NXi in one year's time. Give me a break. Working Title wouldn't be 1/5 of where they are with the G1000 NXi if they were still doing this as a hobby, and not a full time job. i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
November 22, 20223 yr To @MattNischan and the rest of the Working Title team, I want to assure you guys that many of us recognize what you are working on is indeed HUGE, unprecedented and is absolutely going to drive the industry forward. The work you guys are doing is setting MSFS apart and we really, really appreciate it because we could have easily gotten far less. THANK YOU! 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
November 22, 20223 yr I agree! Are you reading to the end of the posts? "And MS contracting them is excellent idea. Jorg did briliant move with that" The rant is about lack of information and communication about broken platform things for years (just for example: flashing cockpit shadows, LOD totaly broken....). All content things are delegated to outside studios. its brilliant. MS is paying, devs can live from their hobies, we get free content faster. Its crazy to think that something is wrong with that. Asobo should have more initialization now on platform. So, why are we not still getting anything fixed that is not on content side? thats the only rant. November 22, 20223 yr Appreciate the positive words, all, but definitely wasn't my intention to derail this conversation into being about if WT is good or bad! Mostly just curious as to why the schedule announcement got a negative reaction in a few places.

If they announced free flight lessons and time in airliner level D sims for all current owners of MSFS you will still get some people with negative reactions. In fact, I would just assume replace the word “negative” with “passionate” to give it a more positive spin. There’s an old saying “if you aren’t making mistakes you aren’t doing much.” In this context I would say “if people aren’t complaining then they probably don’t care.” Gary i9-13900K, Asus RTX 4080, Asus Z790 Plus Wi-Fi, 32 GB Ram, Seasonic GX-1000W, LG C1 48” OLED 4K monitor, Quest 3 VR

November 22, 20223 yr I have mixed feelings as I’m very grateful for a lot of things (currently having a great time learning the A310) but at the same time disappointed that SU11 partly broke two excellent freeware addons (AIG&FSLTL) and there’s no mention of a way to remedy this (yet). 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

November 22, 20223 yr @MattNischan Count me as another who very much appreciates all the contributions from the WT team to MSFS. The quality of avionics that you all are bringing to this sim is amazing and the fact that it is being included free is at another level of amazing! In past sims, many of us would have been forced to pay for some types of quality avionics if we wanted them available in our sim. This fact needs to be highlighted more often and in this age of inflation, crazy expensive GPU's and rising costs everywhere, the high quality and free avionics from WT is an absolute godsend. Thank you! As to the state of MSFS in general, I too wish for better AI. Whether it be freeware like FSLTL and AIG working better again after SU11 or the default AI system, I don't care. I just want a nice, working AI system that includes GA. So many of the smaller GA airports in MSFS are gost towns. If you are lucky, your scenery might have a static aircraft or two, or if your chosen AI system has GA, you get 5-10 aircraft that all look the same and have the same livery. And lastly, the elephant in the room that was all the talk a few days ago...the friggin' Connection Lost messages that we all have had to deal with. More then anything else, FIX THAT PLEASE! Nothing breaks my simming immersion and enjoyment more the being on final approach and "Connection Lost" right in the middle of my view screen. Ridiculousness. That's all I want for Christmas...fix that nonsense please 🙂 AMD Ryzen 9900X3D & ASUS X870E Gaming Plus MB, w/64 Gb GSkill DDR5 RAM, PNY RTX 5090 GPU, lots of SSD's and M.2 drives, HAVN Case, Virpil VPC Panels 2 and 3, Virpil Constellation Alpha Stick, Virpil Rotor TCS Plus w/ Hawk-60 Collective grip, TM TCA Yoke Boeing Edition, TM HOTAS A-10 and F/A-18 Sticks and TM TPR Rudder pedals. It's the vocal minority vs silent majority phenomenon. To some, given that their "pet" issues or areas in the sim aren't getting as much attention as they'd like, they then throw tantrums and/or make sweeping statements that border on the outlandish. Especially those who seem to be cosplaying as MS/Asobo insiders and think they know how the team is structured/lead and who should be doing what and how and when. Personally I don't place AI and ATC as high a priority as avionics and core aircraft FMs/systems. For those who keep saying that avionics/etc can be covered by 3rd party contributions, well then so can AI/ATC as already seen 🤷♂️ As many have said on here Matt, we know you and the WT sub-team are the avionics and systems/FM experts, and we're glad you guys continue to beef up the avionics, systems, and flight models in the core sim platform to unprecedented levels never achieved before in any other sim. Bottom line, keep on doing what you're doing! So as I can see it now is.. cool.. I will have nice garmin but weather will be broken and I will have stutters and broken shadows in cockpit and unusable AI and ATC. And no mention that there is any plan for that. You keep mentioning lack of transparency on certain issues like broken shadows in cockpit, weather, AI, ATC. The broken shadows in cockpit issue obviously is not as significant in the grand scheme of things and I'm not sure if MS/Asobo have ever commented on that or not. But I know they certainly have commented multiple times on how AI and ATC needs to be improved, and very definitely also weather which has also certainly been improved ever since SU7 and the introduction of METAR. So just on the very topic of transparency you couldn't be more wrong, sorry. In fact I'd say no other flight sim dev team has been *nearly* as transparent. Coming back to weather, from SU7 onwards it's been steadily improving and with SU11 we now have better more complex simulation of atmospheric-airflow/turbulence/thermals, much better merging of METAR and global data, etc.. and they're gonna keep at it in the future SUs to keep improving it even more. Yes maybe they've been slower to address AI/ATC and just started on that in SU11 (or at least we're seeing the results of their work in SU11 but they could've started earlier who knows).. but compared to everything else in the backlog, and going by user request popularity, ATC/AI just doesn't place as high so it is what it is. Also, just because they were more clear about what's coming in the first AAU (aircraft and avionics update) in 2023 and less so about the other core platform areas in their roadmap doesn't mean they are intentionally being not transparent, etc. It just means that as of *now* they're not ready to claim what will come in SU12 and beyond in 2023... what we *do* know however is there certainly will be an SU12, SU13, AAU #2, and so on. The clarity on what those will contain will obviously come later. If those don't address some of our pet issues I guess we can rant, but what good does that do.
