April 24, 20233 yr I owned the a330 in p3d (And I am a P3D Beta Tester as well). The A330 in p3d didn't even handle the daily standards like proper VNaV and laws. It even had a memory leak, which drained fps after 30min of flight down to single digits FPs. I habe written 2 DIN A4 Messages to the support team, uploaded Videos to proof the issue was related to the weather radar (on drained) and contacted Mr. Kok personally on a friendly way (I am a Scrum Master at a huge bank and have experience handling issues and serve a 18 people big software team). Delivering some good footage to point them to the issues....resulted in being Locked at their forums... After my letter to Mr. Kok, he let me in the forum again...but all my posts have to be checked first to get posted public. The support of Aerosoft has huge possiblity to grow and become more user friendly (we bought payware!) And the products are to bugged in my opinion. I'm not having problems with bugs....until they make the product unusable for the purpose (it wasn't able to fly longer then 30 a 45 min) or the bugs don't become resolved AND are being a real bug (function wich does not do what it should do) wich affects every user. Aerosoft is surely not my preferred supplier due this kind of delivering Regards Marcus Regards, Marcus P.

The problem with Aerosoft are the severely lacking social skills of Mr. Kok. Boohoo, it's because he's Dutch, it's because he is not a native speaker of English, he just doesn't cater to whiny snowflakes. Let me stop you right here. I happen to have a brother in law who is.....Dutch. He and his entire (fairly large ) family are extremely courteous and polite in their manners. In fact, the Dutch people are some of the most polite people I have ever met. Quiet and restraint, to be sure, but if they invite you to their homes, they are the most courteous and accomodating hosts I have ever met. So, kindly stop this: it's because he is Dutch word not allowed. MK is rude, with few social skills. Full stop.
April 24, 20233 yr So what do we expect from this release: - dumpster fire of bugs, I won't be surprised if the falls from skies bug is not fixed. - Support that is the far opposite of "friendly", if you ever give any critique, no matter how small it is, get ready to be blocked. - Mr.Kok cheering with wine glasses celebrating the "breaking" sales numbers for a broken product. Oh man, Aerosoft and Mr Kok have damaged our confidence with this company 😐 AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

I am dutch too...lived there for 20 years... 🙂 A lot of support people at aerosoft are German. I never had such rude replies to my messages as from Aerosoft. And my messages are polite written too. April 24, 20233 yr I don't know how this whole thing about MK being Dutch and his attitude got started. I know and have worked with hundreds of Dutch people over the years, and I have never known anything like his attitude - it is a false association. As for the A330, I would expect it to be like the A318, 319, 320, 321 packs they released for FSX. People will either buy it or not based on their choice. As long as they heed MK's words on the level of fidelity, then people cannot be disappointed. I have lowered my expectations for it, but I am still waiting to see what happens to the Twin Otter anyway after it was pulled from sale - still no sign of that being reintroduced. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. April 24, 20233 yr There are people who even managed to buy CaptainSim products: the A330 will have a lot of sales. People like to waste their money. Edited April 24, 20233 yr by Jeeeno
April 24, 20233 yr Well the A330 will no doubt sell much worse than the CRJ, since there are at least 5 (!) much better airliners available by now (variants not counted) for decent prices, one of them even being a long hauler. But Kok, being a smart capitalist, knows that of course and will therefore have severely limited the development budget for the A330 and will also lower the price to around 40€, following the footsteps of the pioneers of MSFS cheap airliner-like-looking aircraft. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
April 24, 20233 yr Within Aerosoft the must feel Kok is doing something right, because his lack of social skills towards the customers go way, way back. I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD

No doubt that plenty of customers lack them as well. Fighting fire with fire. I would be surprised if he was like that when he first started trying to get into the market. Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...
April 25, 20233 yr Aerosoft and Kok a clownshow. They banned me in their forums after I asked if their Airbus will support simrate 8x like I can easily do in the pmdg. They said I am hallucinating as no airliner in any sim can do 8x. I read that while I was flying in 8x in the 777 over the Atlantic and I am neither drinking nor doing drugs. Lukas Dalton
April 25, 20233 yr Any respectful feedback, wish, bug, problem, issue or something else, from a customer or becoming customer is a chance for a supplier to enhance or learn. My feeling is, that at Aerosoft they understand this kind of input as a Attack or as a try, to tackle their product. But it isn't! As long as they react harsh, ban people or deny our feedback (by always pointing with their finger towards "us")...it will have a negative impact on sales! Sales could be much higher when reacting professional and rational rather then emotional. Of course MSFS has raised their Numbers of sales, no doubt, but it could be higher when they start turning the rudder around and ask them selves : what can we (Aerosoft) do and learn from the customers input? I was surprised how fast I was banned. It influenced my thoughts about their products directly. I treat them respectful and I wished they did this with me as well. I liked their a330 in P3D. But the issues where so big I could not use it at all longer then 45 min. And I did a clean windows install, p3d install and only had a330 Installed to rule out all other software issues. Hardware could still be an issue....but even tests told me that memory RAM CPU and GPU where not the cause. And there where many users with the same issue. They told us, we are a handful users compared to thousands of user who have not this issue. And so they thought....it is not their product. But my assumption is, that even if only few people communicate an issue, it does not mean that there isn't an issue! I won't buy another a330 from them. They don't fit to my expectations regarding to support and product quality (not quantity related to functionality). Edited April 25, 20233 yr by mpo910 Regards, Marcus P.

Been there, done that. I am a software architect in a big company and tried some positive input towards some of the issues regarding their Airbus products functionality to no avail. They will always know better and their attitude towards people who seek help in the forums is just sad. My last email wasn't even responded to although they (mr Kok actually) states they always respond to all emails when help is requested from the community.
