This is a question I asked in the P3D forum but nobody answered. Doesn't the flight sim expo also have commercial customers, or there are exhibits of interest to commercial customers? P3D has a lot of commercial customers too so if there are commercial customers attending the flight sim expo, it makes sense for LM to attend the flight sim expo. I was asking in the P3D forum if the flight sim expo has commercial customers attending it, but nobody answered me so I still don't know (I have never been to the flight sim expo before so I have no idea if commercial customers attend the expo). i5-12400, RTX 3060 Ti, 32 GB RAM
July 3, 20232 yr perhaps just an ego thing. we exhibit there because we can. July 3, 20232 yr The EFB will be ready just in time before MSFS 2024 comes out, and then they will start this 3 year tablet development process all over again. The 737 is really good but this tablet thing has become a joke. Edited July 3, 20232 yr by Noooch

July 3, 20232 yr Happy to see some movement on the 747 and the 777. Excited to see the 737-600/900 make it to the marketplace though I am curious to know how easy it is to get their livery installed if you get a plane through the marketplace. Mostly because I just prefer the marketplace's system for confirmation and purchases vs a myriad of update tools and installers and license keys. I have yet to re-install my DC-6 just because I have to find where I buried my installer at on my file structure.

July 3, 20232 yr What I'm disappointed about is not the lack of the EFB as such, because let's face it, every physical tablet is miles ahead of its digital counterpart. Nor am I disappointed that I continue to have to change settings in the CDU, that works well enough. Charts can be display either in the Navigraph app or within the sim. The one area where the EFB is really needed for flying is performance calculation. Yes, there are some third-party tools, but not all of them work equally well for all variants. And this is where PMDG should have long provided another solution. I'd be happy with a little tool that I can run in the background. Or maybe they should have used to their resources to develop some kind of ACARS performance request (much like FSL did) within the CDU/FMS. But honestly I'm not sure if they even have the capability for that any more...

No. It will be an enhanced MSFS2020 with the scenarios / career mode added on. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). July 3, 20232 yr There's a nice article by RSR on the PMDG forum about FSExpo 2023. Great to see a smiling Stefan and Jerome from Pilots, too. It looks like it was a very successful event. https://forum.pmdg.com/forum/main-forum/general-discussion-news-and-announcements/255933-03jul23-recap-of-a-fun-trip-to-fsexpo-2023 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

July 3, 20232 yr P3D accounts for less than 1% of PMDG installs? That's wild. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
